Chance The Rapper at URI last night was awesome. Great show. Even if your not a fan of Chance, the way he loves his fans and what he does was amazing. He was so interactive with the crowd and i couldn't have asked for a better night. ALso, i got a sweet tshirt.
omnidataI do fine cabinetry, also Hilti tools look uggo, cheap, their dust collection is sup-bar compared to Festool and they don't have glorious systainers.
I feel like Festool is more cheapy looking, personally...
I do admittedly like the different chucks on the festool but at the same time, the Hilti hammer drill is so fucking kickass.
I also feel Hilti's battery life is slightly better, but I've only used my friend's T15 on a few occasions so I can't really make a fair comparison here.
I don't know... If I can 2cm auger holes 10 cm through hard ass maple without so much of an issue with my Hilti, that's plenty good enough for me.

My little Festool is now 10 years old and works as new, they are not burly, but precise, but to be fair high-end drills have little to set them apart from each other.

If you want to get a real dad boner, Sortimo, equally German, equally precise.
I have a few of their metal cases, frighteningly expensive but the quality is beyond anything you can even hope to comprehend.

Thinking about leaving the mountian resort worker life next year. I'm not sure how much longer I can take the seasonal unemployment and sub par pay. Thinking about trying my luck in the seattle area and getting a real job. The girlfriend is also putting pressure on me to move back east but I dont want to live in backwoods maine where you hustle to get stuff you need cause there isnt many jobs around.

Fuck me. Apparently the vain in my left arm isn't big enough. So I can't sell. But I've donated countless times to the red cross from that same arm and I've never had an issue. They are usually surprised by how quickly I fill a bag.
Entirely forgot I was hosting a friends website. Hit delete because I didn't recognize the folder name and I have like 70 websites that I hosted at one point or another during development.
My heart sank when I realized they likely hadn't backed up the site ever. Called hosting company and they informed me I pay for daily backups. I love it when I make smart decisions, forget and then need to rely on them for whatever reason. Site is restored and no one noticed. But now my head feels all funny from the cortisol.

You don't necessarily have to have a "bad life" or go through something life altering to be depressed. Sometimes its just chemical imbalances in your brain that cause it.

one time when i was younger, like in elementary school, i fell asleep on the couch just before dark. it was at a time during the year where it got dark at about the same time AM and PM. like sun set at 6 pm and rose at 6 am. woke up just as the sun was setting and i thought it was rising and it was time to go to school, and my mom is calling me to the dinner table. i thought we were about to eat breakfast. turns out we were about to eat dinner.

wow...this story really sucked me in. I enjoyed the part when you thought it was time for breakfast but really it was time for dinner. You really grasped the plight of your youth and you general ass-fuckery.
