so I'm a freshman at Plymouth rn and not really enjoying it and feeling really trapped and anxious. My work load isn't super bad or anything I just want to move out west for a year but I don't want to fuck up finishing college. but at this point i just feel like im wasting my money and my families money. very conflicted

couldn't find the original one anywhere to buy so I made my own version
I took that design a while ago, edited it a tad and put it on a silk screen. I only printed one shirt but the screen is still kickin around. Im pretty shitty at silk screening but it didn't turn out too bad.

Right there with you dude. What I wanted to do with my life last year is way different now. I don't want to disappoint anyone or waste anyone's time. I want to do what makes me happy and that's the mountains. Unfortunately my parents wouldn't approve of me moving out there and I'm not completely financially independent yet so that idea isn't even an option at this point. I wish I would have taken a year off of school to find out what's really important to me and what I really want to do with my life.

im at a community college and decided tonight i'm transferring to CU boulder after this year. I can't live in new york anymore. I need to be out in the mountains.

Idk, i belong in the mountains, and having no (major) responsibilities right now is the perfect time in my life to do such a thing.
It is, from what I hear, extremely difficult to get residency for tuition purposes in colorado. I think it might even be illegal.

Hey man I'm feeling the same way even though I did get to move out west. I'm from Vermont but I'm a freshman at the University of Denver and I've been super disappointed so far. For the most part it's just my professors that have been the problem for me, I already had to drop my major because I had 18 credit hours and my physics professor seemed like he expected way more than I could handle with that kind of schedule so I had to drop the class. I thought I was fine after that but apparently not, I had a high A average in calc until our first mid term and I studied everything the professor told us would be on the exam. Unfortunately like half the stuff on it we didn't cover to that degree of difficulty in class and like 90% of the people including me failed it. Also he wouldn't curve it because one of the international students out of the 60+ kids he teaches throughout his calc classes managed to get a 97 on it somehow. I'm feeling like I'm pretty fucked, my parents said I could try to transfer after this year if things aren't working out but I feel really bad because I know that we don't have the money for that kind of thing (DU is paying for a lot of my tuition, I know it's known as a rich kid school but that's not the case for me). Just overall in a bad position when I expected it to be a good year.

Right after I printed it the yellow really popped. You're supposed to heat treat it before you wash it to set the ink, but my iron was covered in wax and I really didnt feel like cleaning it. Without the flash its pretty hard to see.

Your screen came out real well! Especially for something small like that. I don't think it looks all too amazing that small on a hoodie though

Thanks man. The design isn't that small, the hoodie is just super wide (wal-mart special). But if I were to redo the design I would definitely make it bigger. Maybe I'll redo it and start making prints for people. Just send me a blank article of clothing and return postage and you too can show all your colleagues how much skiing means to you!
