immasthe first nurse told me she thinks it's syphilis, and the second one says it's just part of an allergic reaction. So now I'm waiting on the doctor hahahahahahahahaha
I'm thinking about changing my major. I'm currently majoring in biomedical sciences but the only thing you can really do with it is continue on to med school. I know I could do it but I don't know if that's what I really want. It would be too crazy of a life and I want to be able to have a more laid back life. I want to travel, have a family, and not be stressed out 24/7 working crazy hours.
I'm considering accounting with a minor in business/managment because I'm great at math and there's a lot of things you can do with that kind of degree. If I ever wanted to work at a ski shop or resort I could definitely do that. I could work pretty much for any company actually. The pay would probably be smaller but there's a lot more opportunity to increase.
I'm also thinking of Nuclear Medicine Technology because it's still in the medical field, you get direct patient contact, and it pays well. I would have to work at some kind of hospital/ office/ clinic but I wouldn't really mind. I guess the highest average salary for a nuclear medicine technologist is out west( California and Washington). I definitely would love to move out there. Also I wouldn't have wasted a semester in college but that could be easily overlooked.
Hmm, what to do?
louie.miragsIt will be all right though.. most STD's are curable!
Yeeee. Especially if they're caught early. This whole ordeal is very funny to me because I alwuas joked that if I got an sti I'd want it to be syphilis and now that it's a potential reality I wanna quit making those jokes.

If I got an sti I'd want it to be a hatchback.
I hope my joke comes true too. But seriously, good luck. That's no fun.
also, what do you do when you have a mid-term exam online tomorrow that you have until sunday to do, and the teacher said nothing about it being open book or being able to use your notes on it?
Online and not proctored = everything is fair game

Do you but try to consider what will make you happy and feel satisfied. Then, consider pay. Because if you're miserable/bored being an accountant it does not matter how much they can potentially get paid.
Being in the navy was bad as it was. Not to mention all the false promises. And then you get out and dealing with the VA fucking blows. I have never once got off the phone with the VA without yelling "that is fucking bullshit"

I'm a third year accounting major. It's really difficult, but I love it. And with an accounting degree you can work in any industry you want to. It is a career with crazy hours though, especially if you decided to do tax! But definitely choose something you love over pay.
Just went to Target and wandered down the Nerf gun aisle. Dear god I'm trying to think of a reason for me to buy one. I want one. I'm a grown ass man, I can buy a Nerf gun if I want one. I'm a grown ass man, I shouldn't own a fucking Nerf gun.

I took a few finance classes in high school and found them really interesting and something that's actually useful in life. I understand they're a bit different than what accounting would be but it still seems cool. I wouldn't want to be an accountant but I would want to be like a financial person for a company(minoring in business/ management). Maybe like a local shop, resort, or really anything. It would be so nice because you could use it to get a job at any type of company. Like if I go to school for NMT, then I'm stuck with that job unless I come back to school. So at least there's more variety in the jobs I could get with an accounting major.

....conflicted.
Wanting a Nerf gun at any age is reason enough to buy a Nerf gun

all the accounting majors i knew worked crazy hours from january-april (at least the first few years out of school). i don't think accounting is an ideal job is skiing is your hobby. other than that it seemed to pay decent and give good time off and benefits the rest of the year.

I would definitely recommend doing that. The degree really allows you to do anything you want and live anywhere. Business degrees have so much overlap also that sometimes there are only 5 or 6 extra classes you need for a double major.
So I've been really sick all week. Went to a walk in clinic to get tested for strep, came back negative. Few days and sleepless nights later I went to see my primary doctor who couldn't find out what it was either. However for the length of time that I had been sick he gave me antibiotics. Two days later it's like I was never sick. And I was super worried about a big project that's due today and if I'd be able to do it. Finished it, and I'm really really stoked on how it came out!

I swear one of my bosses seriously goes out of his way to make my job more difficult than it needs to be. I want to cut his head off and put it on a stick outside my office. You want me to stay late and work and then not bill it? Not happening. I dont love my job like I used to and it's not worth it.

How about Lyme disease? You def should get tested if you have any type of round like rash. (of course the stupid ELISA is like 40% effective, I came up negative, even with 52 bull's eye rashes)
Mine first started as a little red mark on my inner thigh. two days later I had bulls eye's all over my body.

I know that feeling. My MD called me at 4am this morning to get into the office and rewrite a pitchbook because he came up with a better idea in the middle of the night.
ok so I went from only knowing this dude's first name, the first 3 digits in his zip code and his approximate age. Within 4 minutes I now know his street adress, his sign (libra), his facebook and his phone number. Stalk level: 9000

found his instagram too. And found out what he wrote about to get his bachelors degree. I either should work with the police or be sent to prison for being a fucking creep.

That's one lucky dude. But how on earth did you happen to know the first 3 digits in his zip code? Why not the whole thing?

lol, "lucky"?
nah but I only knew the name of the municipality he lives in (our zip codes have a "main" number of 3 digits for the entire municipality/town, and then 3 other digits which narrows down the whole thing to a specific area. I only knew his first 3 ones)
