thanks for finding that for me. Yeah i'm not really digging these anymore. Want a fat ski that i can throw butters around on for dayysss. Just dont know what ski that is.
NinetyFourIs it a crank that a tire iron plugs into or how does it work? In the winter my mechanism or spare freezes up, so I drop it down in the fall and bolt it to the roof rack. Way better than rolling around in the snow or slush to.
yea its a little socket looking thing that the jack iron fits into but its really hidden and hard to reach and you need a flashlight. I guess the model year after mine they put a tube in to properly direct the jack iron, fuckers
no problem, look into some bacons. i used them as my one ski quiver a couple seasons ago and they were so much fun everywhere i took them. i was blown away with how fun they were in the park and all over the mountain i felt like they were the shining armor and steed to my knightlyness and together we slayed every dragon in our path. i am always jibbing/buttering around and they lasted longer than most of my skis do.
I filled a giant dent on one of my surfboards with some glass and resin. The resin was nice and warm, since I had the epoxy in a hot water bath for a bit. Since it was curing in a big blob, the reaction got a bit warmer than I'd hoped for, and it started to smoke. It's all good now though.

During one of my early ski layups I had a handful of edge rubber, and to wet it out I had just been dropping the rubber in and then grabbing it out. Right after I put my hand in the cup it started to smoke and burn and solidify. It was super scary because it was like softening and melting my glove all while clinging to it. Luckily I got it off fast, threw the cup into a fireproof bin, then proceeded with the layup.
Even though the epoxy I use has a 50 minute cure time, it will prematurely catalyze if it's in quantities larger than 100g in a small container. If you spread it out into a piece of glass though, it stays wet for a long time. Aha, needless to say I've drastically changed how I do layups. It's like 5 cups instead of three and once it's mixed it hits the layup quick.
Soo Im going to but a new pair of bibs but I stand choosing between two models.
I like semi-tight baggy can't really describe but like Chris Bentchetlers fit this year if that makes you understand a bit more
One which is a little tighter fit with 3L Toray Micro-Oxford and is a bit cheaper
And the second one is the same fit but 3L Gore-tex and a tad bit more expensive.

This is what I learned after my first surfboard. I'd think I'd know about runaway reactions too, but the though escaped my mind the first time. It was 70F in my garage this time, so I thought it'd be fine. At least I can be confident the reaction went to completion. I always wonder if it's water vapor I'm seeing, or something from the resin.
