how is the foliage looking in the Catskills? I got out there last friday and did Blackhead, blackdome and Thomas Cole. Planning on doing Indian Head and Twin Mtn this weekend.. Have you made it out? I am expecting it to be gorgeous this weekend. Looks like rain saturday, but sunday I am out there for sure!

That is one of my favorite spots. I keep a photo journal of all my hikes. Below is what blackhead look like 3 weeks ago.
Indian head and Twin would be clutch this weekend. I'll be doing Bearpen and Vly and maybe Sherrill. Last weekend I did balsam and Eagle. I have 4 normal hikes and 4 winter hikes to get the 3500 club. I should get them by the end of winter.
Just got a call from a place I applied to. Got the call while I was in class so I couldn't pick up. I have class for another hour and I'm stressing out haha. I need to call asap.
We have a political party here called "Nordic Youth" which is an extreme right wing, neo nazi party. They work together with other nazi parties here (for example "The Swedish Resistance Movement"), and do things like beat up "foreigners" (i.e. people who are not swedish looking), send death threats to journalists and human rights activists and so forth. Its disgusting, and I hate how their stickers are in so many places in my suburb without people taking them down.

Nice man! I am at 15 and one winter hike.. I have done bearpen in the winter. When you get to the top you'll notice reminisce of that old ski hill I talked about before. Like parts from the old tow rope/lift and signs. I am pretty sure I shared that article about the ski hill with you. You'll see where those dudes re-cut one of the trails (not very wide). That is going to be on the opposite side of where you walk up from (not sure what part is private property i forget).

For my last hike (snowpack permitting) I'm hoping to lug my boots and skis to the top of Slide, pop a bottle, take it all in, and enjoy my 2200 descent down to the car.

dude I just remembered that I saw on ihikeny's instagram that two brothers became the first ski all 35 catskill peaks.. I wonder how many years that took them? Or maybe it wasn't ihikeny because I don't see the picture... it is somewhere though of them celebrating their 35th peak

This girl who was my freshman group leader last year kept posting snapchats of a an adorable black kitten. So I asked her to let me come see it sometime and she said she'd let me know. A week went by so I asked again and she told me she's super busy and I i probably won't be able to see it until like 3 more weeks go by.
So "busy" you can take snapchats of this kitten everyday. Like all I need is ten minutes to visit the cat. And yes I miss the fuck out of my cats and I love cats like you can't believe
