How do people end up with fridays off in college? I never ever had the chance to do that. I think I was able to pull tuesday/thursday off once by stacking mon/wed/fri classes but I didn't. Never had the chance for friday off.

im only taking 13 credits so thats probably why. I just lucked out with classes.
CorinAnyone know how to open the fuel cap on a Toyota Avensis from like the early 2000s? I've tried everything and I need to get home.
I feel like this is fun story to tell so I'll tell it.
I had to drive someone to the airport this morning and had no car. So we got to borrow a car from the chef at the hotel were I work.
I drove it home last night, thinking this is going to be interesting. But it was more than interesting. It was a lot like in one of those challenges on Top Gear where they have to buy a car on a pretty tight budget and then there is always something wrong with it.
Brakes were absolutely terrible, and made an incredibly loud noice. And the linkage between the pedal and the brakes was a bit loose or not connected properly, so sometimes when you were braking, it would just stop braking, like you stopped pushing the pedal. Also the clutch was about as done as a clutch can be and still sort of work. Gears worked pretty good, mostly. Engine and throttle had no problems at all. Lights were terrible, and wouldn't go to full, just half. Dashboard lights dind't work so I had no idea how fast I was going.
It ended up being a scary drive. It was dark (4:30 am) it was foggy and it was raining. Also moose hunting season just started so there is a lot of moose running around. The drive was 20km (one way) of country road to next village were the tiny airport is. So I couldn't really see, since the windshield fogged up, lights were terrible, and the vipers sucked. I didn't know how fast we were going, and I couldn't brake properly. But the worst thing by far, was that I didn't know how much fuel it had, and we could run out any moment. The fuel gage was below E when we set off, and I tried filling it up before, but the filler cap wouldn't open. There was no latch or release to be found, and pushing it or pulling it wouldn't work.
We got to the airport, he made his flight and I went to the closest gasstation the figure the fuel cap thing out. I tried for about 15 minutes, and it just wouldn't fucking open. Then I started the car, and all of a sudden the fuel gage said half a tank. Maybe it just needed some warming up? I drove the 20km home, and realized that there probably isn't half a tank of fuel in there. Because after maybe 5km it hade dropped to about a quarter, and then stayed there until I got home. At least I got home. Shittiest car I've ever driven.

I have Monday and Wednesday classes and Tuesday and Thursday classes. Two classes a day, four days a week. It's only 12 credits.
went to the bar last night. 14 beers, 2 shots of jameson, and a jimmy buffet drink later (whatever the fuck that is), one of the bartenders drove me home. fuckin a
Chubz.I am quite jealous of the amount of music festivals you attend.
They are so fun! Always a chill time. Not to sound cliche, but, when I was your age I didn't even consider festivals. I saw a few shows at Performing arts centers and such but never considered festivals. Now that I am 25, out of the military and college, with a job, it is so awesome to be able to afford weekend trips. Once you pop the fun aint gonna stop

yea ill be around most of the morning and afternoon sunday. Perhaps we could go to b-fast, or brunch, or lunch. But we need to hook up (asexually) its been too long
You ever rigged for a splice? It fucking blows. And then you get to spend a couple days twisting and untwisting the haul rope with a big ass crank that takes multiple people to turn. There's nothing fun about splices unless you enjoy copious amounts of heavy lifting

Damn it, I should have been hitting up IF3 this year, but work and life yo. And what I've quoted, alcohol must be insanely expensive in Sweden because I don't find it very cheap here... Although I've never been out east so maybe it's cheap in Quebec?

Yeah its pretty expensive... a drink is usually $18, a beer (smaller than a pint) at a standard/not too shabby place is around $8-9. A shot is around $18 as well.
