Really excited about how good life is right now. Even though I have zero money and have 3 big exams this coming week, it's awesome to step back and see all of the positive things. Having used up all of my saved money on this treehouse of an apartment, being broke isn't too bad. I have been focusing on all of the small things more (in a positive way), and it has been treating me well. I'm loved by so many people which makes it beyond difficult to be upset. Although life could be a lot less stressful right now, life could definitely be a hell of a lot worse. I'm thankful and excited to be where I am right now.

I can't report it without a legit ID of the situation. I didn't even see any description of the vehicle other than it was either a Honda accord or a Volkswagon passat in a champagne colour with probably Oregon plates? They drove off. I couldn't see. They were african american. They had a passenger. they looked right at me as this whole thing went down and just didn't give a fuck.
my bike's fine, I need a new rear wheel though.. totally bent my rear rim, so that's done...

Woke up this morning to my friend making really loud random noises, and was pissed off because I was extremely hung over and just wanted to sleep. When he wouldnt shut up or respond to me I went to the other room and he was making weird hand gestures too. Then it hit me that he is a diabetic so i tested him and his blood sugar level was 29.... he was fucking hypoglycemic and having a seizure. Luckily we were able to force some orange juice down his throat and he slowly regained his ability to talk and function.
It was scary as fuck seeing him like that. I dont know much about diabetes or how long it takes, but I know levels that low can kill someone. Im extremely glad we did not wake up too late and were within earshot of him.

Does he not have any emergency insulin pens? If that shit happens you should be able to jab them with an insulin pen and get em to the hospital. You dont wanna fuck with that stuff

We honestly had no idea, and he was not able to talk, and had no use any motor skills whatsoever. He had no idea what was even going on at the time either so he could not help us help him at all. Once we got his levels to normal he said he was fine and felt good.
Fucked up really bad on a log hop today. Accidentally tapped the front brake as I started to take the back wheel over and went over the bars. Aha, I was up on my front wheel for the longest time and just couldn't get it back down. Didn't hurt myself or the bike amazingly.
Today I woke up at the bottom of the stairs in a sticky mess that was once a puddle of my own blood mixed with the fragrant and once delicious contents of a broken bottle of Chateau Le Bon Pasteur 2009.
My favorite racer had a gnarly fall today and got all cut up today. I spent most of my lunch cleaning up his back and chest, and because of his tattoos I was constantly missing the blood. He gave me a few beers and now I get dinner too. Took me most of the seasons, but i did it ladies and gentlemen.
