immasFlat out told him. Plus body language should have helped, but apparently not.

CorinWorst case senario is surgery (way too late) and not getting to ski at all this winter. Or surf for that matter, which is what I want to do most right now. Honestly can't even think straight.
CorinSwedish Healthcare: Free and Frustrating.
It's been three months, and nobody even knows what's wrong with my knee. Got sent to the orthopedic specialists, so I called them saying I can take any available appointment, and they were like 'No, sorry nothing in the summer, you'll have to wait until fall'.

pat_in_the_hatanyone know how to make an app?
An app that calculates the height of a cliff would be a seller I think. For skiing, cliff jumping, sky diving, etc.
just link a video into the app, then have a start button for the exact moment of the jump, then a stop button for the landing. This would calculate the time of fall. Could even have a function to slow the video to get it even more precise. Put in the approx weight of the person. Then a simple dynamic calculation would put out the height of the cliff.
It would work just as long as there isnt any force in the launch,
Thizzle. This is extremely relevant to my interests. Literally 10 out of the last 14 days I have been at the river jumping cliffs. Hit one today that the low estimate is 60, high is 70, would really like to have this today to settle it.
snobunnyOk. So I brought my kitten home. He seems to be ok, he is also on sedatives. I'm supposed to have him in a crate for 8-12 weeks. Well I could tell after the first couple of hours that wasn't going to happen. He spent the first hour sticking his mangled broken arm through the holes in the cage to the point that it was painful to watch, so I crawled into his tiny crate with him for two hours until I started drowning in sweat...he is upstairs and it is hot as fuck in Washington right now and I have no AC.
so I decided the crate isn't going to work. The idea is to limit his activity but that doesn't work when the crate causes panic. I had Casey pitch a tent upstairs and that's where he is now...anyone else have ideas for creating enclosures?

ThurnisHaleyI say move everything out of one of your small rooms. Or most everything that they could jump onto.
snobunnyI know. That's so what I wanted to do. We have a guest bedroom with little enough in it that emptying it would be easy. The problem is that there are two window sills. I talked to the vet and she said he can only be in there, of we cam find out a way to block off the window sills from him jumping up and down. Any ideas? I mean obviously there are ideas like drilling ply wood over both of the windows in entirety but that would cause big holes in the newly renovated lathe and plaster walls. Any other ideas that would cause minimal or no damage? Ideally allowing Su light to still come in? He would climb fabric.

.MASSHOLE.Is he declawed?
If so, you could put a sheet up blocking half the sill. Not sure how smart your cat is though. He could figure that out quickly
.MASSHOLE.Ignore. Missed last sentence. He climbs fabric.
Do you have large books? Could stack a lot. Or you could try a fireplace grill.
snobunnyhmm, I don't think books would work but the idea for me thinking of stacked lumber or something else drilled together, so thanks, I may come up with something good from that.
and no, he isn't declawed. Not to get all preachy but I would never declaw a cat nor let a declawed cat outside.
snobunnyignore typos. Mobile.
ThurnisHaleySeran wrap and duck tape.
snobunnyduct tape ruins walls, but visqueen and nails along the trim may work well. Thank you!
immasMy family just bought a yearling steer. It's a lil black angus and I'm so excited to see it come home.
yangumanewhat
ThurnisHaleyThen painters tape and then duck tape in an X shape over tge seran wrap so yourcat can see that there is seran wrap there.
snobunnyThanks, +K and +K to STNW...
