Edges seem to be sharp. Being a park skier from jersey and used to round edges and ice, it's an interesting feeling. Also my body is letting me down. My knee hurts and my elbow is messed up.

I'm going to ski breck for the first time tomorrow. I did not fly out with my round edge park skis, but I do have my boots. Do they rent twins there, or should I be looking around town to do that? I'm assuming there's like 103402355 ski shops/rental places there so I should be able to find something good.

I'm assuming that's at me, but if not then I'll concede I look like a noob...

But I'm probably not going to ski park at all at breck. Maybe I'll hit the jumps, because they're supposed to be nice. But I'm from nj, and I can ski park there, especially rails. I wanna do a run that lasts longer than three minutes for once. Also trees. Trees are fun.

I'm having serious problems with the racial imagery of a pale, blonde, white woman freeing a group of slaves that are either of Middle Eastern or African descent. Shit's fucked, no matter how the books portrayed it. Why can't the slaves be a variety of races?
