For I have finished my homework!

Why is it personally more effective to procrastinate and wake up at 6am to do hw the day of class? I have plenty of time with class starting at 12:30 but still proud of my procrastination skills. I feel as though I do my best work cramming. (Even though if I did it yesterday, I could probably look it over today and improve it but that is no fun!)
