profa_212I will probably do this or a trailer for the time being.... specifically snag a cheap ranger.....but being a rust belt occupant, it is difficult to find one that is cheap and doesn't have terrible rust on the frame etc. It's not impossible but they go quick. I am able to tow a trailer with my pilot so that is an easy option as well.
My dad is going up from a taco to a tundra here in the next few years to tow a camper after retirement. I am going to buy his taco when that time comes, so I don't want to spend any real money when I have a truck coming down the pipeline anyways.
Can't believe Kei trucks are so divisive lmao. I think they are fun as hell and i am willing to die on that hill hahaha
Yeah honestly older rangers and tacomas are nice but novelty of a kei truck is too fun. Plus its easy to find one with a manual transmission. Idk how much I'd even be hauling with it, definitely wouldn't be towing with one but would lowkey be cool to put some kinda bike rack system in the bed and make it a shuttle rig
Had one of those flatbed Kei trucks for hauling haybales and it was wonderful

I’m not good at the internet and coordinating with people. Like I’m weird on here but allegedly pretty chill irl.
Here a down bar from a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. From the roof I’m standing on there a drop onto a similar rail but it’s too flat.
I thought you were sitting at a roof bar at truckstop quite honestly... because my reading skills are mid.
Having a bar at a truckstop is probably a bad idea.

I lived in Inverness from 2020-2024 for a project. Came back to the states for another project but is not kicking off so the next project starting is in Buckie, just west of Aberdeen.

Thegenericskiercruised through this weeks dynamics homework, maybe i am a dynamics demon or this homework set was just easy lol. (my opinion will change next week)
For some reason, my university crammed statics and dynamics into a one semester class.
It was still easier than Calc 2 though

thats so wild, couldn't imagine doing both at the same time in the same class. i had a grand time in calc 2 best math grade i've gotten. Diff EQ and multivariable calc have both kicked my ass
Last summer with the help of my dad and his friend we welded up a high clearance steel rear bumper for my Toyota. Turned out great, just put some cheap paint on it for now until I can find a place and time to powder coat it.
Today a little old lady in a nice Audi tested my bumper at the ski hill parking lot. It worked great! I was so stoked. She hit it just perfectly probably in its strongest point. There was a little scratch on the paint but otherwise it was completly fine, her Audi... not so fine. She was stoked when I told her about my bumper and that I didnt care even slightly about the scratch. Probably the most stoked Ive ever been to be in a car crash.
I love my Toyota. Im going to keep doing everything I can to keep it happy.

Why do people like wide mouth/tinted nalgene bottles? I own one and hate it, the perfectly clear normal capped nalgene is so superior. What is that wide mouth or tint good for?

some accessories/tools are made for it. ceramic water filter pumps often utilize the wide mouth but idk if that for function. probably as its much easier to replace and maintain the filter through the base rather than the pump handle.
also you can store and protect things in your bag by putting it in the bottle if needed
also also, nalgene stood out withe the wide mouth bottles back in the day so probably a branding thing too but its more preference than anything

I am so bad at drinking out of wide mouth nalgenes, always spill shit on me if I don't pay attention to what orientation the threads are at, so I agree with you.

Honestly same. Makes me feel like a toddler that needs a sippy cup every time i splash water all over
I have converted to the hydroflask foldable straw style. Used to have a big wide mouth pop top klean kanteen. Usually the spills would happen when driving so double fun.
