enlisting in your late 20s- early 30s isn't bad at all. most of the older guys that enlist climb rank quickly due to them actually giving a fuck. I think enlisting would be good for you, straighten your life out and drop a significant amount of stressors in your life. IMO i'd consider it if i were you.

I guess if you don't mind having 23year old bosses that never had any other job yell at you for having a toaster in your room in the middle of the night enlisting at 30 would be chill.

I definitely agree with you in terms of how life milestones will be changing. Just kinda tough to see through the proverbial fog of what is to come in order to make smart investments.

Shoeys are grossssssss. My brother in law did it at his brother’s wedding (another Brother in law) out of his dad’s shoe. It was gross and his dad wasn’t stoked about beer in his leather shoe. That’s the last time I’ve seen someone do a shoey lol

dm me and we can get after it. just note that i exclusively tour in tall t hoodies and shirts with baggy ass bibs but will still pass all the weekend warriors on the uphill in their fancy skimo gear. the true hardcore skimo guys for sure got me beat though lol. also, i have a pretty low risk tolerance in the BC so my terrain selection is pretty conservative and mellow. typically only go over 30 if its in isolated pockets that would only be limited to small slides. in other words, i target shelfy/benchy terrain.

Multitude of reasons. I think my job affects me more than I realize too. Sometimes I find myself wanting to take out all my frustrations at the park which isn’t good because I end up beat the fuck up like today.

nah i know exactly what i'm getting into, it's a bit weird that she's interested in someone 15 years younger, but i'm apt with the art of flirting with milfs, and i'm fairly immune to manipulation bc this shit will never be a proper relationship. if i was 36, it would be creepy af if i dated anyone under the age of 30
