God damn I might be the oldest park rat at my local now. I am filled with envy at times when I see teenagers yeet themselves off things with no regard for their knees lmao

Best sends of my life were when I was a junior in HS and didn’t have my drivers license yet
Nothing like eating shit then falling asleep in the heated seat on the ride home
And yet politicians probably won't have to answer for it nor will they get in trouble for it. Same with insurance companies that denied people fire protection on their homes. It sucks whats happening but it feels like the universe in 2025 is trying to tell us to take care of people/workers better or suffer the consequences. Wildland folks and firefighters in general (as well as all of EMS) are the most utilized yet underappreciated people on this planet

To be fair if I had an insurance company I wouldn’t cover houses in high risk areas like hurricane or common fire areas. This rest I agree with
SlushSeasonSo you're Danish now? Claiming Finland and Sweden wasn't enough for you?
Why is bro acting like Kalmar union doesn't exist anymore. Anyways we sold tactical thermonuclear gnomes to Denmark and they need credible people to operate them.
I don't know about claiming. The city I live in is in my NS name..... It ain't that hard to figure out or is it? What if I told I'm actually finlandssvensk.

That's also a problem. Insurance companies are in too much control as well. "You live in an area where there's bad weather. Sorry but denied."

You're actually from Kalmar? But that's in the south. And you talk so much shit about the southern swedes.
At this point I'm thinking you're from Åland and you just missed the ferry home

I don't have a segelbåt so I can't live in the potato island.

sf100 got me hyped out my brain. Drooling a big ol puddle over here. It's so sexy. Like woah. Late new years res tryna go on a date this year. Grow a pair. Haven't been out in 3 years. Kinda lame. But don't really have a friend group. Have friends for different activities. Ski, mtb. Kinda it. Thinking abt moving out when I finish school, work hood for the summer or something. Get out of the house. Pretty toxic but idk.
partyandBSi hate to bring you this news but i dont think she’s the 1
Yeah unfortunately third time was not the charm….neither the fourth or the fifth. I figured since she was catholic, that it would be the fifth that would do it….
I want more carving oriented skis that fits my "playful carving" style. Something that carves very well but is capable of boosting some sidehits and skiing little switch here and there. It doesn't need to be full twin. Under 100mm wide, stiff-ish, little bit of tail rocker, radius smaller than 18m.
My current skis would be perfect if I could ski real mountains everyday.
The carvy freestyle skis that are available are either too soft or too much park ski like.
There are 2 options but other one might be too much ski for my home hill and I would rather not spend another 1000€ for skis.

Mirus cor? I haven’t ridden them but how they sell them seems exactly what you described. Might be a little soft though.
However they are also pricy asf. The black crows I had weren’t worth that imo.
My dad sold his pair like 2 days ago so probably not

I demoed those few years ago. They felt too flimsy in slush. Tails are little too soft. I had Atris for 2 season it was fun in park but not so fun everywhere else.
Really bothered by the fact that i stand all day at home, and at my job, but my knees are the only joints right now that aren’t bothering the fuck out of me. Just a little bit of mf elbow pain makes me wanna pull my hair out.

I know they tend to get some hate here, IMO completely unwarranted, but I swear the J Fastforward is exactly what you're looking for, because I had pretty much the exact same criteria and spent months researching before finally deciding on them. When you load them up they pop really well, they're stiff (but not overly) and chargy and handle crud really well, hold an edge on firm snow and the bit of tail rocker lets you get slarvey. Like I wanna be able to cook down a groomer, jump off trail and nuke through chunder for that side hit over there, pop smoothly, and handle a high-speed exit. Amazing skis, I will die on this hill even it it means becoming the J Skis version of Florida Man
If they were for sale, Fauna Omni is basically what you’re describing if you count 100m width and 18m radius. Carves strong but you can snap it into a shorter carve. Strong camber with softer tips and tails gives you that blend of carving and playfulness. The closest I’ve skied to it is the Fauna Pioneer but it’s wider and a different type of carver.
KungKalmarI'm kinda looking for a unicorn.

Those sound great but 829+VAT+customs is too much.

Camber looks nice. I like camber but I don't like soft tails :(.
I was looking at Pusu Loska. I loved them in slush but they are quite pricy. I'll never pay full price for those. Maybe I'll just sell my park skis and ski park on my unmounted reckoners.

Nordi unleashed 98. 18.8m rad in the 186. Nordica factory tune is absolutely incredible. Those skis engage insanely quick. You lean them over and grazing ass. The ski has some decent power if you keep them on edge. Not too great for straightlining chop but will let you carve it. Not a park ski at all, more of a twin slalom ski. It's so much fun to turn and boost edge to edge transfers but dosn't go sideways very well (terrifying experience.) Turn like hell play like a grampa.

It’s just the rockered tip. Not the part that you actually load up. It’s a moot point though. They’re not for sale.
My biggest gripe with Pusu is they are way too expensive to just have a flat black base. Silly as that sounds. They’ve got a real operation, not just a guy in a basement. At least die cut or subliminate the base tip.

Thumped my head the hardest I ever have skating yesterday. Random freak accident. Big ups to Bern and MIPS. Didn’t feel a thing (it was a back of head impact) but heard it and felt my head rebounding. Heard the guys on the ramp saying “OH SHIT”.
Got up and kept on. Hopefully no after effects but god it’s kind of scary thinking how fucking smoked I would have been without that helmet.
