It's not a fun story. Tl;dr- She died several months before we were to marry. Amazing times for 4 years though
Her family definitely thought the relationship was a bit of a meme due to the age difference. They would call me "her boytoy" and shit like that lol. My friends and family were also a bit shocked initially. Which we always found pretty funny, because if it was a man in his 30's with a woman in her 20's most people wouldn't even think twice about it.
The week from hell. Already the most brutal christmas week I've ever had, but at least the Lions are 13-2, I have a freezer full of Buddy's Pizza from back home, and we're gonna go ski tomorrow.
I know I come off as an asshole but I genuinely care about this silly lil sport and community we call skiing. Much love to all of you and yours. Stay safe out there and lookout for each other.

Yeah. Thankfully it has lost most of its meaning as christian holiday. Some probably celebrates more traditionally still. It's illegal to have religious school ceremonies. Christmas ceremony was still in church though but I skipped it so I don't care. I don't know how others celebrate it. Usually the celebration day is christmas evening.
For us. Some family came over. We ate and everyone else except me drank alcohol. Then santa claus brought gifts in ikea bags(he forgot my books :(. Then we ate more and played board games. And then I was taxi for drunk people.

I helped buy my niece and nephew some really cool gifts but I just feel sad and empty that I can't be there to hang with them. I don't hate the holidays, I just hate how people don't know how hard it is for some people who have to work them. I hate seeing people I love grow up via FaceTime.

well we know every year this is coming. so i guess that makes it easier. depending on how you prep though. still sucks for sure. im happy knowing my family is having a wonderful time. being included in FaceTimes is a luxury that they didnt have 10 years ago. 20 years ago you were finding a landline to call and before that resort employees were writing letters home. so at least they included you and could see you.

Nah man it was cool. First thing I did this AM was FaceTime my family and got to see them. I just miss home a lot.

Nazi swastika is tilted. Honestly it's bit sad that people always make the connection between any swastika and mustache man.
Swastika has been used in asian cultures for thousands of years and is still commonly used.
