God damn the birds are skiddish this late in the season. Came home with only one grouse.
Should have had 3 pheasants as well. Whiffed on one. The other two I hopped out of the car and grabbed my gun, thought I threw a shell in but didn't. Dead in my sights and could have had a perfect double up, only to hear a click when I pulled the trigger. Lmaoooo

Check out the 2.0 thread in gear talk. Look is aware of the issue. It was a bad production batch from 2.0’s made prior to Sep 2024. Hit up look warranty and they’ll send you the replacement parts from the new updated ones.

imma make a thread when i get the fix but the warranty home said that they are getting a fix around new years. i would send pics and start thr warranty now and then reach back out once the new year comes around.
one thing to note, double check the email you put on the form. my dumbass put .con instead of .com so i thought they were ghosting me but turns out im the problem

BradFiAusNzCoCaI’m 33 in a few weeks and I can relate. Sometimes I just feel burned out and need to reset. I went through a very low energy “in my shell” period recently after I started therapy (and a new job). Interestingly, skating pulled me out of it a lot and I think I started skating because I opened some sort of “childhood box” from therapy. I used to skate a lot as a kid.
I’ve been feeling a little burned out from skiing lately so I’m giving myself space for now. Just 1 foot after the other and give yourself time to rest.
also, the smoking is maybe making the anxiety worse. Sleep has a huge bearing on my mental health too.

partyandBSmf needs therapy. its hard to start with out a clear breaking point. sometimes you need to hit rock bottom. but i think you know you could improve your life without that being the case.
the art of achieving goals seems to be lost these days but we all can benefit from. i use a structure outlined by a book called the 4 disciplines of execution. great book. a bit repetitive. heres a video that breaks it down
https://www.newschoolers.com/videos/watch/1101901/--YouTubethe use of a score board to track daily to see if you are making moves towards your goals is the single biggest takeaway here. i primarily use this at work and it drives strong results for sure. i have used it in my personal life as well and actually created a goal to lose weight and the measure is how far i uphill before work each morning. so each day im going to track time and distance to impact my goal of not being a fat fuck lol.

Super strong academically, and you'll be setup for a job after work (especially if you major in the sciences or econ) but yeah it's not really a party school at all and I came from a small public school in Maine so it was a bit of a culture shock for me at first dealing with rich Long Islanders and prep school kids but I found my niche and definitely had fun while I was there.
Also fun fact, there are tons of rails on campus that have been in ski vids. LTC, Good Company and Stept movies.

SivvySir have you heard of glide slides and wind slabs?????
glide slides are incredibly rare in CO as they require large smooth rock faces which we dont really have much of and lots of water which requires a thicker snowpack and warm temps so not quite the time for that. but the wind slab especially from the last few days is real lol. idk about down there but 2 days ago it was fuckin ripping up here

both are too close to junk city which is a certified shithole imo. but both are still pretty rad. i got friends who live in palisades and absolutely love it. they are satisfied with powderhorn in the winter and the summers are crazy pretty. great weather. fruitas mtb scene is pretty strong. but dont really know it.

Not him also saying he enjoys the time to himself 🙃 but also misses and loves me. Cant have it both ways. Dog snapped the lead today and sprinted into the woods after some deer. So that fucking sucked.
We are extremely lucky that even though she sprinted into a couple hundred thousand acres of national forest, she hit the one house on her way out. Even more lucky, the owner was walking out her door to go for a jog. Even more lucky, she had seen my wife driving up and down spotlighting and jogged out to the road to find her.
So fucking relieved. First time I've cried in a while man. Damn. Was a scary hour or two for sure.
I think I might bring in some help with training her.
