CeleryAny Maine people ever skied Big Rock mountain in Mars hill? It's got 1000 ft of vert and is in the middle of nowhere, seems like maybe a good pow day option
hi_vis360Skied there once mid winter fully open cold af. There are some really crazy steep runs that are one groomer width that are super fun. Park was kinda weird but it did exist. Limited tree skiing but it’s def there. The mountain faces west so there is tons of light late in the day, which is refreshing if you are coming from the loaf. Would love to ski there on a warm day in march the golden hour skiing must be super epic
GayWolf420it kinda sucks living with other people and everyone all of a sudden is hungry at the same time and waits to take turns to use the kitchen
CeleryI think i may have to go, it's only 2 hours from Orono

SofaKingSicki'm more of a pivot queen but those are great bindings and have the most satisfying click-in in the game IMO

SendyMcSendyfaceTorn between buying a pass for a little hill thats close to me (Glen Eden, ~200' vert, can hit it up on the drive home from school), and one thats 2hrs north (Moonstone, ~400' vert, great park). No idea what my winter class schedule is gonna be like, so there's no certainty that I'll have a day or two each week that I can get out by ~1pm like I can this semester. Last time I had a Glen pass I only used it like 3 times. It's right outside of Toronto, so its always super busy. When I last rode there they had just got rid of their squirrel catcher/park pass system, so the park is full of toddlers and kooks. Had several really close calls with people chilling in blind landings and decided that shitty skiing wasn't worth the risk of decapitating someone's kid. I don't wanna drop $300 on a pass and end up not using it again cause the skiing is so sketchy.
fabbeu waste yute cruski ask the fam in brampton if u wanna kno bout the best skiing around the six fam
ReturnToMonkeyAlso for hiking rails. Miss me with bending down to rotate my pivot heel every time

ski_salmon69People who can throw bios... are they hard? Because they look kinda easy to me.
weastcoatNever had any interest in learning Spanish but being on a job site with a lot of Mexicans who are also the nicest and coolest mfs ever makes me want to learn. Kind of hard to communicate with them but it’s kind of fun and something I’m not used to at all from my small hick Appalachia town so shoutout google translate.
Jemslol my first job was a kitchen full of hispanics and half of them didn’t speak english, i loved it so much. was a plus that I did spanish k-12 so i was basically one of them.
weastcoatSeems like a sick tool to have especially out west where Hispanic populations are higher. I wish I had k-12 Spanish, just a few classes in middle school lmao.
this is the one instance where something I learned in the classroom is actually holding value in the real world who woulda thought.
Michigan_SucksI did Spanish preschool through high school and then was 1 class away from a minor in college. I never use it anymore outside of ordering from Taco Trucks so I have forgot more than I learned.
