WoFlowzyes i’m going to hws, great school, plus my scholarship for academics and rowing covered almost all of tuition. It’s the price of a State school now. Columbia and Cornell couldn’t get anywhere close to that so it didn’t make sense to take a gap year if I could go to school now with no financial risk. Still D1 just not a lightweight program.
Pretty stoked tho! Move in Sunday Morning but heading to campus saturday night. Pretty crummy First semester schedule but I got out of literally every gen ed with AP‘s and DE‘s besides Calc and Econ Principles so that’s hype! Very excited to be at school, keeping the mind fresh, meeting new people, rowing etc! Not excited for my roomate who will not respond to me over email, phone, or DM‘s!! So that’ll be annoying. Also hyped for a legit week of parties at the rowing house

GrandThingsThe WoFlowz college era is going be fucking awesome haha. If it makes you feel any better, I had the exact same situation with my roommate. He never responded to any of my messages and we didn't talk until move in day. Ended up being one of my best friends and we lived together all 4 years of college.
Also, the best advice I received as a freshman was don't immediately pressure yourself into thinking you have to make your "best friends" as soon as you get there. Give it some time, meet lots of people and see what relationships form organically. Being on a sports team should make it super easy for you to make social connections/party/grow your network, but just enjoy the ride!!

muffMan.If you got a Costco member ship, Ascent protein powder is insanely good, and cheap for the quality. I think 4 lbs for 40-50 bucks
