That's all I could ever ask for!
QT has a knack for being a little campy and not too serious while still really nailing so many little slices of Americana in the meantime. If you are a fan of classic film, the techniques he uses to develop endearing storyline and dialogue are genius. To me it makes it very watchable whether you just want to sit back and be stoned or really latch onto every detail. Whether or not you enjoy it as a film overall should not take from your awareness of the expertise with which he forms a story and presents it on film. The conflicts are my favorite part, like B and Pai Mei's relationship. They just make it fun and add emotional value to the characters that would otherwise not be there.
Just things to look for the next time you watch it. Can't take it too seriously either. QT's movies you just have to suspend cynicism and the desire for everything to be "real" in order to fully enjoy.
