this injury couldnt of happened at any worse time... 3rd quarter is ending this week and i am completely fucked for the beginning of 4th because of my surgery and recovering and what not...i have a good feling my grades are going to plummet and thats the last thing i need right now

I have baby feet. I used to have tough lifeguard feet but all of my calluses fell over over the winter. I mean I do where my sperrys I snow but I went on an hour long walk then stood on icey cold snow for like 30 minutes trying to get a good shot.

Seriously, time. I was skeptical at first, I thought it would never end but eventually I started to realize that he was a total fag and I got over it.

fuckfucksjkfs!! I was so stoked on taking a week skiing again in july but now I am seriously starting to doubt whenever or not its wort taking the risk. I really don't want to fuck up my back again so that I have to get surgery and end up not being able to ski next season either, but at the same time I do believe/hope that my back should be fine after 3 months like the doctors first told me..

yeah but all the pain went away after a couple of days and I feel more than ready to ski again now so I am sure I will feel ready to ski in july, however there is no way to see if my back has healed or not.
Also my mom is wondering if I am going to join the rest of my family to italy for 3 weeks or if I want to take a later plane down so that I can ski before that, therefor I kind of have to make a decision now..

And if you got the space to make it and your ski season is over build a summer setup?

Lifty at work got broke off in a gnarly fashion. Dude was cat skiing up in MT with friends, drops in on this opening I guess in the trees, loses a ski and tumbled down this whole face thingy. Hit like 4 trees and only broke his ankle. Besides the ankle, he most certainly cheated death.

is it outrageous to think that skiers (at least the high risk skiers) could have airbags attached to their jackets?
like avalanche airbags. why not extend it to all skiers at risk, could bounce off a tree

i dont think its so rediculous

So presumably these airbags would either be manual or automatic. In the case of manual, the skier would have to have a cord or something to pull, which he probably would not have enough time to reach, much less pull, in the event of crashing into a tree because he is either out of control and using all his effort to regain control, or the tree came up unexpectedly and he didn't have time to react. Either way, doubtful that that would be effective. As for the automatic the only way for an airbag to know that you're about to hit a tree, without using computers and radars and shit which would be impractical for personal use, is for you to hit the tree. And the only good an airbag that was deployed after you hit the tree would do would be to provide somewhat black humor for the attending medical personnel.

Interesting idea, not very practical.

america is shit..i hate obama and he is fucking shit up... the fack that 250,000 signed a petition against the mosanto protection act and obama completly ignores them and fucks over local farmers sickens me. and the fact that they are contaminating our natural foods with chemicals and And they are genetically modifying plants so they can withstand pesticides and all this shit, its gross. im greatful that my family grows majority of what we eat, but that really pisses me off.
