Jane and Lawrence: I bought a CD in a Norwegian gasstation about 3,5 years ago that had all of the Eurodisco songs that you've posted on it. It was glorious.

Also all the videos fucked up my computer a bit. Spotify is a thing.

That is amazing! CD shopping at the gas station clearly is where its at then...maybe just in Norway though, the only CDs Ive seen in Swedish gas stations have been of former Idol contestants or like Vikingarna.

im somewhat worried that im going clinically insane

nothing makes sense anymore and i'll catch myself doing things subconsciously that, once recognized, make me so confused and scared of what goes on in my mind. i've tried to explain to multiple people but i only get more confused... and my depression has been hard to deal with lately as well

Something can be made in that era, but completely lack the vibe of that era.

The song you posted, to me clearly lacked that joyous experimental and overly zesty feeling that the 90's one-hitwonders had.

There are a lot of different "vibes" from the 90s, when I think about the 90s I think of grunge and rock: nirvana, rhcp, pearl jam, smashing pumpkins ect. Because this whole style of music was practically invented in that time period. Or I think of the alternative craze, I definitely don't think of dance music.

double post but it irks me so bad I have to post.

Fuck kids who "practice" the motion of a flip like 100 times before dropping in. Today I saw some kid go through the motion of doing a rodeo like 30 times to let everyone around know hes gonna flip. then he procedes to go off the jump and flip forwards (bio 5)- the complete opposite motion as to what he was practicing at the top. like whaaa?
