Did one of my first long Bozeman bc tours today and the snow was absolutely perfect. -10F and sunny is prime time skiing weather. Skiing moguled out shin buster inbounds lines has suddenly become much less appealing to my damaged joints.

Had my scariest crash yet today. Was straight lining the bottom of amphitheater and hitting my usual air but there was a medium sized traverse track in the landing and I was in the forward position. Upon hitting the traverse track I got bucked forward and my left ski flew off while I soared 20 feet through the air over the little rock at the bottom and ragdolled out. I am completely unscathed and I feel as though I've cheated death. I went back up and stomped the line after but it was a harrowing reminder that you should always inspect your zone before you send it especially in flat light.

Yeah idk if you follow chris laker on ig but he hit a usual spot at DV and they groomed a cat track 3/4 down the landing and he just dropped and blew his knee again, shit can change daily whether it's the snowpack or landing, plus flat light is just shitty.

Been losing my ski stoke in a big way. Really have no problem with two days per week and have to bust my own ass to get up and ski those two days. College takes your soul.
Today I had to work, my family cancelled my birthday dinner and now the power is out with 75mph wind gusts until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest so my apartment is freezing. And overall today has just sucked and I’m shitty.

Thanks guys lol. It's a dumb thing to get bent out of shape about but it was just overall unimpressive of a day haha.
I want to go skiing - it's been one of those freeze/thaw/freeze/thaw kind of winters and my set up is all messed up.
I got new boots (demo boots from Windells that were free) but they are extremely soft and there's just not enough boot there for me. When I got those boots, I neeeded a remount but the only way to do it was to set the heel up a few mm/cm when puts me slightly forward of center. So that, plus the extremely soft boots gives me very little stability and skiing has just felt super off all season. I'm thinking of hanging in the towel(is that the saying? lol) and just getting myself an epic set up for next year. But we shall see.

Damn, maybe just demo some skis a few times if you can for cheap, then save for a solid setup next year, also come west cause we have a lot of snow.

Maybe just snowboard. Or just try to ski everything switch IDK (: good luck , don’t quit tho. Also yeah think about that flying greyhound bc some places are getting buried Rn

My car is in the shop because the cable that connects the temperature dial on the dash to the heater snapped so it is stuck on cold. I have my dad's explorer until it is fixed but it's going to take at least a few more days.
This morning, in a snow storm, I learned that the 4 wheel drive does not work... so that was fun. And now it's still snowing and time to go home and I'm SCARED lol. I'm a scared little bitch but I guess its the only way home hahahahahahhaha UGH THIS IS NOT MY WEEK! hahaha
Fuarkkkk it's so annoying having no one who skis in my town....
All my friends complain they're so bored after work, so I am like let's session the tramp park or diving bored... And then they say they are too tired SMH and just end up playing ps4. Excuses for days
I wish Lead Fabrics wasn't so expensive. I love their designs and it looks like super well made stuff but i just cant justify 120 bucks for a hoodie..let alone 150 for a windbreaker jacket.
So dank at Mt Hood today. Actually glad it didn’t snow more. It was perfect for getting speed enough to slash. Actually considered going south to Hoodoo today because Santiam pass had twice as much snow but it sounds like the road got avalanched so yeah I think we had it pretty good .
Starting my hustle. Gotta be on that grind. Flipping stuff to get that bread.....

Its falling right back into the same pattern as last year where it clouds up and nothing happens or all the systems are going north and south of us lol. Perfect time recently to spend some days off being lazy.
Oh well, 120" in the first week of February wasnt so bad. March is looking decently active but Im pretty ready for some sun and corn in a few weeks here
