Yoo any utah/PC locals know any back routes to beat Sundance traffic? Traffic going towards kimball is insane, not sure if traffic is ever bad going to 80 from prospector though. I hate you Sundance, I cant believe the city still allows such a shitshow

I looked around on google a bunch many years ago. The only two backroads in te park city area are emigration canyon (closed when snowing) and guardsman pass (closed by snow).

They’re about the same. If your concern is just avoiding traffic, the only sure strategy is to leave later and bring a laptop or something to keep your busy till then. It’s pretty unfortunate that they got rid of night skiing because that was an easy way to pass the time.

It depends on when youre heading into town. Early mornings and late-night are your best bets to get through unscathed. Sadly during the busy traffic times, cops are posted up everywhere and they do not like people cutting through residential areas.
I work at the canyons village so I normally take 224 and make a left at kearns blvd to go past the HS and out towards the ice arena onto Hwy 40 like normal but Eccles at the HS is the main theatre so its a shitshow even at like midnight-1am. I get off at 11pm typically so I take 224 to Kimball Jct, and then pop on the freeway there. That unfortunately is always backed up from 3-6pm almost due to skier traffic, resort employees heading home, and other stuff.
Tl;dr if you can use roads like Old Ranch road or the frontage roads to the highway, thats still congested but not as bad. If you're in town anytime between the afternoon and like 11pm, you just gotta learn to deal with it at some points. It sucks, but its not forever.

Yeah I work at bazookas in the plaza at pcmr so I can either go past the HS or take 25 minutes to get to 80. I also used the median and acted like I was going left to skullcandy then merged right like 40 cars furthur up but cant get away with that forever.

Happened to me a few years ago visiting PC, all season I wore red pants, grey nike sb hoodie, white helmet, with il moro ts and ar7s of the same season, first day out here i see this kid matching me but the only difference was maybe the brands of the gear besides the skis and boots, all the same colors though. This season is interesting, at PC many of us have arvs and the icon hoodies just not all the same colors along with pants.

Yup, I've got the older version of the bibby tours. Not sure why moment changed the name from bibby to wildcat, but whatever. The blackops are a little heavier, but other than the weight, I didn't notice many major differences. The blackops are a more "open-minded" ski, meaning that they work pretty well no matter your style. They were killer in pow, stiff enough to plow through crud and stomp big cliffs, but I could still pull off noodly-arm new wave shit in the park too. Honestly, you'd probably be happy with either, I'd suggest grabbing whichever one is cheaper, or has the radder topsheet.
Backcountry refunded my order. I don't normally get on that customer service rep ass tearing shtick but this situation grew from a mild inconvenience to full-blown bullshit. Fuck them and fuck any company that is gonna be cheap with shipping services.

I dont think they did, and I dont think it was in the summer games this year either, i could be wrong though. It seems like E-Sports are so fucking big now that they don't need something like X Games to bring onboard. Competitive gaming is doing just fine.
Sundance is whatever but damn that Wu Tang documentary "Of Mics of Men" looks fucking awesome. Definitely need to see this. I'll always be a typical whiteboy obsessed with the Wu like i was when i was 16.
a bit awkward but I checked this giant family in yesterday and they had a luggage cart totally stacked to the top. We stashed it in our bell closet room but for whatever reason, I couldnt stop hearing this buzzing and its coming from the cart. So i walk over and i think one of the suitcases had a travel buddy it in for one of the ladies traveling in the group lol
