Well drove up to PC to my friends house to get my chest listened to by his doctor dad and I guess im fine just a cold and maybe a virus or muscle strain causing chest pain, didnt bring my skis up so now Im back in Slc less than an hour later, lol.

A facebook friend of mine was tagged in a post - they found a lost dog

Another facebook friend of mine shared a post of someone looking for a lost dog. The photo's of the dog matched

I've found out I have literally 0 friends who ski anymore. everyone quit or got lost in transition from highschool to adult-ish.

it's weird looking at this site now. years ago it was us fucking around, now I dont talk to any of them. its weird how life moves on.

Well I took a practice GRE last week and got a 297 which is bad.....took another one today and got a 316 so a huge improvement. Both without writing though.

One more practice exam left and my real one is Wednesday. Stress man....stress.

Holy shit today was fun, a bit rocky in spots but always nice to find a big field to yourself, hopefully it refills by tomorrow. Took a real face shot of snow for the first time and wow its enticing.

just wish i didnt sleep all day today again, it was certainly deep out there, but im almost entirely gassed from working these holidays. its been a marathon since Dec. 23rd and while the money has been decent and some of the skiing, its been getting a bit harder and harder to try and get up before the sun is when you dont get home till midnight and youre pushing 14-16 hour days of skiing and working on like 5-6 hours of sleep.

I hate seeing the weather and have it say PC is getting 2-4 while the rest of the wasatch is getting 6-12, so weird how brighton will get double PCs snow when their like 2 miles apart, whatever hopefully canyons isnt cocked today

Im so hyped to have a decent schedule despite some weeks making less money, but seriously I use to work at a dealership and had to be there for snow crew at like 6am, then do my actual job all day 5 days a week while skiing at a busy place all weekend and was just miserable I couldnt ski/ski pow on weekdays unless it was at night.

Kinda annoying how Brighton managed to get double PCs amount basically and their within a few miles of each other, whatever Im stoked I skied pow 2 days in a row next time Ill just hit Canyons or one of the canyons

Today marks 3 years since our adventure around snowbird, thanks again for taking my LCC v(ski) card. Gonna try and get out there for a weekend in march maybe.

My knee has been incredibly painful with virtually no swelling for nearly 3 weeks now. No improvement. I'm seeing a doc soon and I'd put money on my meniscus being damaged and my baker's cyst being reinflamed. Those are both only like 1-2 month recoveries worst case with surgeries, I'm just super bummed about the timing of it all. Everybody keeps telling me that my knee could be just incredibly sprained, as those can take up to a month to heal, but I just can't see that being the case with no swelling and this feels different than a sprain for sure
