This. From what I understand most all of the pilots they hire to fly bigger planes and good routes are ex air force. Most people who arent air force get stuck on regional flights working for smaller shell companies.
Titus69Even living in NH people were still year after year panicking and shit. Many people are dumb and don't get snow tires and assume they're safe even with AWD and still just spin out.
That and straight up shit driving technique. I have mildly aged michelin premier all seasons and I was fine. People with awd suvs think they can just floor it like they usually do, and rail into turns while jamming on the brakes.

Yeah sadly they don't teach car control in America for drivers ed, pretty sure Finland or somewhere teaches how to control a slide, luckily I'm into racing so I can usually maneuver out of slides safely.
Went climbing yesterday and donner was a shit show. Thank god people are lazy and you can walk a quarter mile and it's dead. Smoke was pretty bad up there though.
Finally went skiing today. Had to extend my streak to 25 months. Still no lifts so I hiked and skinned to the top of Palmer. Skied to about 1/2 way down the mile. Warm and calm with spring corn today. Celebrated with a 25 oz can o beer Woohoo
Tomorrow’s the day. I’m quitting and I’d like to think I’m doing them a favor by quitting before they pay me for Thursday and Friday’s holidays but yeah. I’m nervous.

I work at a lodging property in Canyons Village but its employees-only sessions from like 10 till 1pm at the PC side, and then PCMR/Canyons open up on wednesday.
Im actually happy Snowbird has theirs on the 30th, though. It wont be much but it wont be as bad as last year.

It seems that every year we get more hyped for the season to come but every year it comes later. Maybe next year we act as if we couldn’t care less and maybe the season might start earlier.
