My niece and nephews maternal grandparents lost there dog at a local park today ): went looking for her but had no luck. It’s gonna be 25-30F tonight with snow and I’m scared of what might happen if she’s not found tonight...

Be smart after parties even if you're biking, roommate drunk as fuck cut me off coming home mangling my fingers, and then ate hard shit before I called the other roommate to get him while I biked home with ease. Just don't have 1/5th of tequila mostly to yourself, you'll fall a lot.

I have a friend who's tiny dog just lived through 2 nights outside in this weather. They are much more resilient than we think

Damn whoever designed your place sucks, unless it was originally a one bedroom converted to add more roommates? I can just imagine trying to take a dump in the middle of the night worrying about waking the dude up.

lol yeah. That was my setup when I lived in SLC for a little bit. It was a 3 Bed, 2 bath duplex in a culdesac and my good roommate lived upstairs/had his own bathroom, and I shared the basement one (where the other 2 rooms were) with my terrifying roommate. Terrifying in the sense of "oh shit should I call an ambulance for this dude?"

He worked construction and had a work accident, got hooked on opiods, drank hard liquor every single day to the point where he was calling in sick a bunch to stay home, drink more, rail lines of crushed up pills, and scream at his TV while he played Call of Duty. This was all within like 4-5 months of me living there. I've never heard a human puke more than him. It was like every bathroom trip he had. It was super super shitty one morning having to get up at like 5am to get ready for work and you almost bust your ass from slipping on the bathroom floor cuz he puked and didn't do a good enough job of cleaning up. I came home from work one day to his brother and friends giving him an intervention which was really strange, and he came back months later right around when I was moving out and the dude dropped insane weight, he went from probably 275lbs down to probably 190lbs, it was scary to see.

Technically a 2 person house but the 3rd room is basically a closet, roommate is a deep sleeper but having a fan built into the bathroom light or something would be cool, pretty old slc house

Yeah pretty shitty cause she was actually super into skiing ahah. But whatever I guess :/ legit we went for texting everyday, had a lunch date, just bein super cool and then she just cut all contact and ghosted tf outta me. I respect that tho I've moved on.

Haha so true man! Idk where I'd be without skiing it's helped me in so many ways. I'll get over a bitch easy but I have no idea what I'd do if skiing ever broke up with me lmao. Thanks for that tho homie, imma live by that statement.

Haha no worries, girlfriend junior year just restricted ski time and I competer a lot then, not the only reason though lol, went to PC 2 weeks later and had a time. Other just sent me a bs text late Thursday night I awoke to Friday, wasnt emotional thing cause nothing happened but it was just kinda shitty to reas after a few weeks. Got out at noon and skied with homies.

Were you in Tahoe for the Angora Fire? It was in South Lake, was pretty scary. Likewise, in 2006 1,349,023 acres were burned in NV. I remember evacuating our house in Sommersett (on Peavine) in 2006, watching our new house almost go up in flames. The Verdi fire was pretty small (7,000 acres) but after that, it became a spectator sport in Sommersett to go and watch the Peavine fires burn. It'd be fucked to have another massive fire in NW Reno again. (I mean, there was that one year when the entire valley was on fire, Caulighn, Peavine, Damonte, and Gleana had first at/around the same time.)

THEY FOUND HER!!!!

A woman found her. I'm not sure of the details but the lady was unable to get close enough to the dog to see her tags but she was able to give the dog food and water for a few days. So she was reunited with her owners today!!

Had a fucking rough fall at the bone zone today but I've really got the hang of locking into rails now. Rails are so fucking addictive, I see how people can session the same shit over and over now.

Getting jealous of you guys that are getting out on the regular. I'm going to need to go up to hood this week and just do some hiking. Probably no lifts for me for a long time but I'm kinda scheming about going someplace.

This time of year is so boring, been struggling with sleeping everyday recently cause I have been way to restless and still no snow in sight, also dark when I get home from school and been raining allot recently so shitty biking weather to.. I can't understand how so many live their lives like this year round with no hobbies outside of netflix..
