Titus69Idk how much they are at Nash or how often you ski but you couldve landed a better deal to somewhere in NH or maybe Wachusett since it's not a literal hill, but you will have access to the best park in mass, so fun.
JakeDalBontrust me ive thought it out a lot. Wachusett just dosent have the same feeling as nash and the park is way better and the crew atcually cares about the mountain. I dont mind paying a little extra for that (Plus i only like 30 min to nashoba so i can go almost every day)

DeebieSkeebiesTONS of snow in the mountains, which I am stoked on. But knowing Utah's track record with early snow and terrible snowpack, I am also worried we're gonna have another year like last season. Its kinda like identical to last year cuz we got a ton of snow around this time in october too, and opening weeks in november were a nightmare.

Titus69Yeah it's my first season out here and I'm hyped, currently waiting for a text to come to PC to work, but will end up at bonezone if not. My homie said the snow needs to melt though, I assume it's not good to have half a foot of shitty snow as a base for when it really comes, which isnt for a while. Halloween like 7 years ago in NH we got 2 feet, melted in a week, and after that had one of the worst winters I can remember.
DeebieSkeebiesYeah, youre homie sorta has the right idea too. I dont know dick about snowpack and stuff (still learning a ton), but I do know that historically given our record of early dumps in october that just sit till it snows again up high, its not good at all and sorta sets us up for danger early on. In a perfect universe, it would snow a good amount right before the resorts open up for good base building, but oh well.
brotoYeah no chance a lot of the upper elevation north aspects will melt all this off. Best case scenario is it keeps snowing and not too much damage is done. Worst case we end up with a persistent weak layer with lingering avy issues all year in certain zones, which looks like the more likely option rn
daannnnieeli'm starting to get somewhat annoyed at people who think that getting stoned at work is a legit thing to go. Having drinks at work isn't really a generally accecpted thing whether you need it or not. addictions are addictions, dealing with people who aren't in a proper mindset is fucking annoying.
