I am honestly not sure but there is rumors that some athletes are having to pay for hotels, heli time, etc which is fucking ridiculous. I think skierman even talked about it in that podcast he did awhile back. Its one of the more prominent athletes iirc
I need to quit my job ASAP but I'm a fucking pussy and don't know how. The people here are too much. I'll sit next to our "team lead" ALL DAY and as soon as I leave, EVERYONE gets an email saying hey make sure you do this. In a subtweet like format. Even AFTER I ask if there is anything I can do before I leave and I get a "No, you're good to go." It's fucking annoying.
They complain that I ask questions several times, but every single time it is a different answer and if I don't do it exactly how they want it, then "you should have asked." But when I ask it's "try to figure it out on your own." I seriously cannot win. I asked a question two weeks ago about how to go about a patient canceling a few hours before their apt. Usually if they cancel, we move the apt to 9pm which is outside of our business hours, just for records-sake. But if they No Show the apt, then we leave it in the schedule. A same day cancel is considered a No Show because of failure to give 24 hours notice so we keep those in the schedule for again records-sake. I was told to keep these cancels in the schedule. Now, I follow that procedure today and I get another subtweet like email saying this apt should have been moved to 9pm. Then you wonder why I ask every time because every time is a different answer!! Don't get me wrong, there have been times were I've forgotten to move something and have taken full responsibility of it but in this situation I deliberately did not move it because two weeks ago, I was told this was not necessary. BUT had I asked, I would have been told to "figure it out on my own."
They also preach about "team work," but no one works as a team ever. They point out every mistake you make and then hold you accountable for it (which in and of itself is not a bad thing at all). But rather than fix the mistake and work together, they will wait DAYS to tell the person and at that point it is usually too late. Ex: I sent a fax for a medical records request. The fax didn't go through which happens often due to technical issues. Rather than my coworker trying to resend it (takes 3 seconds, all you have to do is type the number which we have written on the cover sheet) my coworker puts it in my mailbox after I've left and it sits there for 3 days. There have been sooooo many times where I've seen things done wrong(wrong phone numbers, spellings, misplacement of things, wrong patient information in the wrong chart(huge HIPPA violation mind you), etc) and I just fucking fix them. Like there is no need to send a public email. Just fix it and be done with it!
These mistakes are becoming such big issues for everyone because they aren't addressed immediately all because you want the person responsible to fix it. Like fundamentally, I get that and I agree with it. But in this setting it simply does not work. By the time that person comes in and is notified of the error, it has already been sent, faxed, filed, etc. and now it's too late or a 3 second fix just turned into rummaging through files for 30 minutes just to find what you need to fix.
Anyways, I don't know how to quit because I'm too nice and too agreeable of a person to be like hey you guys are fucking stupid and cause me and others unnecessary stress. But at the same time, I think they would be happy if I quit.

Think I'm done mountain biking. Bent my rear rotor trying to clear one small section and my friend ditched me because he wanted to keep riding. The problem with mountain biking is you can't fucking try to session something more then 3 times before something fucking breaks.

It isn't that hard and you don't have to give them any reason for it... just say you're giving your two weeks, thanks for the opportunity and ask if you can help with the transition. You can literally find a template on google, fill it out, and email it - takes like 5 minutes.

I live in Sun Valley / Ketchum now and I've found it pretty easy to meet friends to be honest. It's definitely not a city with a huge diverse group of people but everyone is down to hang and there's so much stuff to do, it's actually been the easiest transition period I've ever had in moving to a new town. Granted I've only been here a few months but I really dig it so far. But everybody knows everybody so if you're the type of person who wants to be able to hit up the grocery store without seeing that girl you hooked up with last weekend, a bigger town like Whistler is probably better.

the kings/canucks game last night in SLC was fun. Was with friends and got insanely baked beforehand. Our seats were upper bowl level kinda in the boonies and straight up had my breath taken away when we arrived to our seats and were like right above the rink and everything. That was sooo fuckin awesome. A mix of being in awe, incredibly stoned, slightly anxious, but taking errythang in all at once.

Anyone ever injure their LCL? 2 years ago I knuckled a jump almost sideways on my right leg and last season I kinda hurt it again but by March was ok, kinda hurts lately on and off and I just wonder if anyone knows good strengthening exercises for knees, first utah season coming up and want it to be good. Gotta start hitting the gym soon, seeing frosty grass getting me hard

Although i dont have a camera or skis yet, life seems to be piecing itself together which is cool. Crazy shit happens when you apply yourself and chase ur dreams.
