Titus69I think my knees finally gave up after weeks of crouching and kneeling, so much aching pain right now oh my god.
BigPurpleSkiSuitGood luck
QuaffYeah you're right, I wasn't seeking an answer, because I know I'm correct. Just wasting your time!
Profahoben_212Somebody trade me some devastators. I need them back in my life
DeebieSkeebiesIm still going to fucking murder the sick son of a whore that ripped of my new ones with fresh Pivot 18s. I barely even skied a month on them last year.
I hope that fucking ski thief overdosed on whatever shitty drug he sold them get drugs for.

BigPurpleSkiSuitSomeone ditched a car on 45th south and redwood that has I AM A WHORE painted in bright white paint on every window, windshield and side door. Seems like a reasonable action depending on relationship length.
Chubz.Just re watched network. That movie is so ahead of its time. I miss STEPT ski movies so much. They had a vibe to them that i dont think any crew can recreate.

DayManFuck cops. I was walking to a friend's house with my girlfriend last night, completely sober, and she was carrying a water bottle full of vodka and red bull. Unmarked cop car pulls out in front of us on the sidewalk and two cops get out and start questioning her about the water bottle. She ended up getting an MIP cause she's 19 and I'm 21 and I tried to defend her saying the bottle was mine and then the cop threatened to charge me with supplying a minor with alcohol. Protect and serve my fucking ass. Are there not 100 better things cops could be doing? I'm so heated.
FUCK COPS
DeebieSkeebies6-7 months without a job is a little bit too long but im stoked i got a shop tech job for the winter. Any advice for newbie shop rats? Im pretty eager and ready to learn all sorts of shit and cant wait to apply it elsewhere.
safarisamIf you don’t know something grab someone who does.
Ask questions.
Dont be THAT new guy.

Titus69That's fucked, they just love to have a reason to have the power to feel like they're doing something, although I can see a young girl carrying a plastic water bottle with something not water in it be suspicious. Seriously though you weren't even driving, shoulda just slammed the bottle in front of them or pour it on their shoes, fuck power hungry cops, I already hate when people talk down to me cause I'm 5' 6" and they're 6' 1."
BigPurpleSkiSuitTheoretically what happens if you slam the whole bottle?
BigPurpleSkiSuitI have to wear a suit to work now. Guys, I never wanted this what the fuck do I do, I'm becoming everything I ever hated. At least I can help give people financial advice but still this is ridiculous, i never thought I'd be a 9-5 white collar guy
SendyMcSendyfaceJust curious, what prompted the change my man?

WillgumI've gone this route as well and guess what, I work 40 hours each week and I know exactly what my schedule will be, I make >3x money than I would have had I gone the typical skiier route, and I'm less stressed than my friends ( I live in a ski town) because I dont have money issues. You're gonna get off work with alot of energy because desk job, and you'll never work on the weekends so you can always make plans in advance.
White collar gets a bad reputation because it's " soul sucking" but it's what you make of it. Any job can be interesting if you set goals within it and bust ass. Plus, if you build up a few years of experience, you can take sabbaticals of 6-12 months and work ski bum jobs if you want, then jump right back into industry.
All my coworkers work 9-5 and get off work to kill MTB or fish and raft. When you start to fall into a routine, THATS when you need to be worried about being a square.
BigPurpleSkiSuitYou're right, I guess I'm just anxious
OregonDeadGood experience if nothing else you can use it to get into a field where you don't have to wear a suit.
If you can make enough money though who cares. If I was some sort of mega rich banker I'd probably just buy wool suits and wear them to work and ski.
ronders_My bike just got jacked from centennial towers on du campus. They cut the lock. Bye bye like a whole summer of work money
RaarlWhat brands offer quality warm hoodies with neat designs? Looking at bloom among others
ronders_Here's a pic of the exact model and color. Just in case anyone on NS sees it around Denver lol it can't hurt. The stem is flipped and the spacers are switched to above the stem. There is a nick/area where powdercoat is scratched off on the top tube. The rotors are also different than the pic. I'll be on craigslist looking for it too
CLQNot to be a total asshole but why would you think it wouldn't get stolen? Notice how everyone else's bike is a total piece of shit? Some kid at Boulder got his $5,000 bike stolen because he had it locked up outside of his dorm. No lock is going to stop someone with bolt cutters. Don't they tell you this shit at orientation or something? Like I just don't understand at all. Would you leave your skis outside with some piece of shit 5 dollar lock for days on end?
BigPurpleSkiSuitIt's definitely not mega rich but if I stay here I can probably jump up to investment banking right after college
nutz.Don't expect to be working 40 hours a week if you're doing investment banking... or much skiing at all for your first few years
