DeebieSkeebiesIf we just had more exposure to the game here, it would sell to a lot of people and they would be hooked. Trevor Lewis is from SLC and has played for the kings for a while, won the cup with them back in 2012, and even brought it back to SLC that following summer and people were stoked. The Grizzlies are a minor league affiliate for the Anaheim Ducks so there is certainly some untapped potential in this state. I knew a ton of kids in HS in park city that played for the high school, too. Honestly the HS hockey games drew more crowds and attention than our cokehead football team lol.
It just makes sense, honestly. We get more brutal winters than back east sometimes and ive seen sooo many ponds around my area with nets and kids playing. Theres a few public ponds right outside park city and there is some ex-Detroit Red Wings player with a big ranch that has a seriously killer setup im jealous of. Playin hockey outside in the winter when its bonechillingly cold was probably the most fun thing to do growin up in good ol michigan.

SendyMcSendyfaceFuck classes havent even started and I'm already over uni. I guess I'm just salty I'm literally the only skier on campus. Ditched orientation stuff and scoped some urban spots but I've got nobody to hit them with. Somebody get me the fuck out of Ontario.
ronders_Im lucky my school literally had a picture of some dudes in tall ts hitting a handrail on campus as one of their main website photos. But fr fuck orientation. I'm a goddamn adult I don't want to do "bonding activities" for a week.
DeebieSkeebieslife is hard when you're not a chad ;[
BigPurpleSkiSuitFound out yesterday that apparently there is at least one mountain lion at alta when I hiked devil's castle. Kind of scary.I was hiking Baldy Peak in Montana which passed feet away from an active mountain lion den. I was so pissed at whover had the dumbass idea to put that trail there.

QuaffSo if I didn't hear a cat bellowing in here, what was it? Enlighten me.
iFlipThis sounded like a legitimate question, but then below where you insulted me, I can tell you're too close-minded to actually be seeking an answer. However, I'll give one anyway because others may be interested. Mountain lions are one of North America's most elusive, secretive animals. They would never, ever den near a trail that has frequent human travel and is covered in human scent. They simply would not do this.
Additionally, mountain lions do not den except to give birth and then nurse their young. If it had been a den, you would have heard the "mewing" of the lion cubs, which sound rather like domestic kittens. Mountain lions make many different vocalizations, but bellowing is not one of them.
What you most likely "found" was a marmot den.
QuaffYeah you're right

QuaffHere's a picture of the den exactly half-way up baldy
Here's a picture of the false summit of baldy peak, if that's what your little peanut brain doesn't believe.

Titus69Yeah well its summer, everyone is drunk, stoned, and dealing with life and work before ski season, or at least me.
BigPurpleSkiSuitI don't want to be eaten alive? Why cant they just go to park city and eat tourists there?
