Yeah I'm only 2 months into being out here and even if its like 30% humidity I feel nasty, while my parents live in constant 60%+. Real smokey in salt lake right now, driving earlier i couldve sworn I saw ash but not 100%, air smelled very smokey too.

Yeah humidity sucks. I don't get how people can live all sweaty all the time in high humidity. I'm not a swamp creature.
Hopefully the fires will go away soon though.
On the upside the outside temp was probably 10 degrees less than what they forecast due to the smoke.
Sad truth is completely blocking out the sun with ash is probably the only way global warming is going to end.

Yeah I'm hoping for the best. A rock climbing gym opened up nearby last summer and I've gotten super into that. Planning to spend a lot of time there this year and hopefully snag a job once I turn 18. I've been lifeguarding which is pretty fun but we've had to deal with a ton of BS this summer.
Since I was 12 I've been on these forums complaining about living so far from skiing and now it's actually going to happen. I'm shocked when I realize how soon I'll be leaving. As much as people mention other places like SLC and Reno I'm so attached to the idea of going to MSU. Only time will tell what the right college is I guess. Still have no idea what I want to major in so that's also cool.
Got to our shop as my coworker was leaving in his van, nobody at our shop, owners not responding and my van isn't here, just clocked in and staring at a 911 turbo. Kinda nice but I'd like to go make some money and a fat tip today, guess I'll have an interview today and not tomorrow, great job up here but fuck the management.

I have historically been a huge ass on this website and chubz didn't appreciate my antics. But I have since seen the light and love the children now.

I don't know what it is, but skiing has completely changed my life for the better in more ways than one. There's just something euphoric we feel from sliding on sticks that can't be described. You are one with the skis and nothing else matters. The only thing that's truly important while skiing is what's in front of you, whether that's a rail, a cliff, fresh pow or even the open mountain. It's a way of life and a passion people like you and me have for some reason. Skiings got me through some tough times but I somehow always come back to it because of my passion for it. I'm sure you feel the same way, but it just can't be explained. All the stress I've ever had, whether that be from exams, people or anything for that matter is completly erased for the time I'm skiing. All that matters in that very moment is the passion you and me both have, sliding on sticks down a mountain.

Yes and it helps if said goal is something that gets you super high too like skiing or playing music. Something where you can get into the zone.

Yeah, I have a dog. He's great. We go for walks everyday and he really likes to go for rides in the car. But he cries every time I leave and that kind of sucks. I hope he is having a good life.
I don't really have access to much summer stuff. I moved out and my parents insurance company made them take down the summer set up because they don't insure "skateboard" ramps. lol
Most of my goals include not fucking things up. Which I don't usually succeed at. I haven't played music and I don't really want to. By the time I get home I just want to chill and usually end up doing logic puzzles to no end. I'm almost done with this book of them. I've done 302/319 and I don't know what I'm going to do afterward.

I think her mom is Mexican, she lives like a block away and knocked on our door asking about the extra room for her son a while ago. *idk about work but I overheard her talking about a laundromat lol* but picture a 37 year old thick and trashy white girl who always wears pajama shorts and big t shirts, that's her. The dog is tiny and doesn't bark so whatever, the kids are a problem, my roommate and I smoke down here and it's just not the right environment for a 12 and especially like 8 year old kids that should have never been allowed without asking. She'd probably be out of the house more, but I think shes too broke, she paid us literally like all her checking acct had for half a month of rent. I have no sympathy for when she probably has moves back to her moms this week, smoked cigs in our bathroom, lied to us, all the shit has been crazy for living her 2 weeks. End rant lol
