argyle409Sir would you that be bottled water, sparkling water or is tap water fine?
Chubz.Committing to go back to school.
I wanna do a semester at the local community college then transfer to the u of u.
My dad is a mechanical engineer and told me he would help me as much as he possibly can if I choose that route. He would let me work with him/shadow/intern during the summers when I’m home as well as help me with math and teach me everything he knows. Only thing holding me back is that I was never very good at math. I understood it fine in HS but never applied myself and I haven’t taken anything over geometry.
2nd thought is to go for marketing or business. Again the math scares me.
Mans 3rd option is to follow my passion and get a film degree. But from who I’ve talked to it seems like film isn’t really a thing you should go to school for.
Im 22. I should have a bachelors degree right now but I did one semester and dropped out when I was 18.
Anybody willing to lend some advice?

*TURBONERD*Where are the fresh SLVSH games? I'm more than ready for a new one.
OregonDeadThey have computers for all the math stuff now. Still have to understand what you want to do but not so much of the tedium like your dad probably had to go through. Marketing and Engineering are both going to require math. Probably a lot better payout with the engineering stuff though. Also with the engineering track you will probably have built up a lot of core science and math classes that are more transferable to other majors. Lots of people drop off the engineer track but are still in a good place to be a physics major etc. Also you might get your feet wet with machine shop etc if you are going that route and that can also be lucrative with less schooling.
I work at a C.C and I think it's a great option. No need to have things figured out completely right now so keep an open mind.
Titus69Fuck today sucks, love finding out I get paid a week after rents due, and not having enough for rent. Shout out to my roommate for surprising me with random shot I gotta pay for and buy that I didn't know about before moving here, 1400+ bucks gone in under 2 weeks. Also was an idiot this winter spending a lot, time to get a night job I guess.
BigPurpleSkiSuitsounds like you have a shitty roomate, why not get him to pitch in half of the stuff you buy for the place
theBearJewWhen you put it like that, it is sad. Id never even heard of the guy or his music. If he was pushing positive messages to the youth who aren't getting it from most rappers, that is a big loss to that community.
Just had no idea who he was or his popularity till he died. Was confusing for someone who lives nearby. But I guess in today's world you could live next door to someone famous and never even know, thanks to the internet.
DeebieSkeebiesIm really insecure and scared to start biking actually. Like dont even wanna go ride now that i have all the stuff
Titus69I have none of the stuff and really want to
DeebieSkeebiesIm stubborn though, and really want to get into DH riding cuz of a bmx racing background, but my sister got a new stumpjumper and lended me her trek Marlin 7 hardtail to learn how to ride on, and i think im just putting the cart before the horse.

DeebieSkeebiesWowwww, never thought id say this but i do not really like drinking that much anymore. I had like 3 shitty PBRs last night and while the first one tasted tremendous, that was pretty much it.

Titus69So far my Utah life hasn't been that great, thought/still not sure if I am gluten intolerant since I got here, hardly any money to have fun with, and now I'm on antibiotics for smashing my finger in a door and will likely have some bad shits like it says.
Still question why I didn't move out here in October before the season starts, just wanna fucking ski so bad and forget about the bad shit.

BigPurpleSkiSuitIt gets better, winter is the best. My advice is to hit the gym and work on some hobby or skill like you do skiing. For me it's basketball.
