RRhighriderOne of my parents dog got sick over the weekend and wouldn't leave his crate. He is 110 lbs, so I had to go over and lift him outside. While he was outside I talked with my parents and we decided he needed to go to the Vet. He was very sick but the doctor sent him home last night. I brought him back to the vet today and he had to be put down. Saying goodbye and seeing the look in his eyes was horrible. First time I have wanted to drink in a while. I am now at home giving my dog lots of loving.

DaphFucking timing belt blew and possibly the engine as well. Just what I fucking needed. At least engines for my car are fairly cheap and easy to find if I end up having to go down that road. Fingers cross when we get the new belt on the engine is ok

Daph3.3L v6 Nissan. Very common engine, already know of two I can get if my pistons hit my valves, but there's a chance it might be alright. Won't know til I get some shit torn apart

DaphFingers crossed. I'm not sure if the belt completely blew or if it just stripped some teeth until I really get in there. Definitely something with the belt though, no spark, distributor rotor won't turn when you crank it etc.
RaarlI got falsely accused of cheating on an assignment because I miswrote 6.31 as 6.35, and apparently the figure 6.35 was a value in the same problem last term or something. Not even the final answer, it was a starting figure and made my answer wrong anyway but because of an odd coincidence I guess I'm obviously trying to cheat. That kind of bullshit could fuck you over if it happened on a final or an important project, some TAs and professors need to chill out and realize that not every little thing indicates malicious academic dishonesty.

Chubz.the "articles" if youd even call them that..NS has been putting out lately have been absolutely garbage. Twig's posts are the only ones i'll actually read. He's like the only person that produces something that I wont eye roll at or leave the page half way through reading.

Chubz.I’ve wrote for NS before and don’t really have any interest in throwing my thoughts (that people probably won’t agree with) in a blurb and write it off as an “article”. Been there done that.
