ShinjiBroke up with my girlfriend of 2 months because I'm going to be leaving the country in a few months and I didn't think a long distance relationship would work because we wouldn't be able to see each other more than once or twice a year. She said that she felt it would be easier to break up now instead of continuing to go out knowing it would have to end. Felt like shit because I wish I had been a better boyfriend and that we had dated for longer, but I had a good cry about it and talked it through with her so I feel marginally better. Working out has helped too.
How have you guys (or girls) got through hard breakups? I feel like the biggest issue for me is that neither of us were in the wrong and it feels like we didn't have to break up at all.

Buck up, you’re leaving the country, presumably to have a great professional or educational experience, and will likely have an incredible time and meet a lot of amazing people and spread your seed throughout the land.

Im sorry but 2 months is not long enough to have some truly special, intense, intermingling of each other’s lives to where you come to rely on each other for support and stability kind of relationship.
2 months is long enough to have a bang routine, know what the other one likes to watch on Netflix, and to maybe have had one obligatory meal with her family, and that’s about it.

MinggI was squatting down to pet my dog and my boyfriend thought it be funny to get in a piggy back position. So I threw the joke back at him and stood l all the way up with him on my shoulders and he smacked the ceiling and I felt like the hulk. It was awesome and my legs feel like jello. But not like warm smooshy jello, more like jello from the freezer.

safarisamPiggybacking off of this, I have to take the GRE for two schools. The Canadian and European ones I'm looking at don't require it. I'm taking it in August so I can retake in October if need be.
