damn, seems like its hard to find cheap skiing without a seasons pass this time of year. Its sort of understandable that resorts are probably running at some losses around this time of year and need to make up for lack of help, money being spent in lodges that are closed down for the season, etc, but damn, its more for a snowbird spring pass than it is just for the young adult chair-only pass throughout the season. it used to be so fucking cheap and worth the price, and tickets were cheap too.

its such white people problems but damn, we're getting pinched well onto closing day. i dont know if this Ikon Pass bullshit is what its cut out to be nor is it something peopple should be stoked on

I went to a bluegrass festival this weekend and really screwed up my foot from dancing some how. About a year and a half ago I fell bouldering and screwed up this same muscle/tendin (idk what it is) and it hurt so bad to put a ski boot on. The pain finally went away earlier this season but now I think I just fucked it up again. Which really sucks because spring skiing is my favorite and I have a mammoth trip planned in a couple weeks. So incredibly lame.

Finalllly grew a pair and skied Alta zero at JH on closing day! So hyped. Such a pukering line, actually feels steeper than it looks from the chair, which almost sent my heart through my fuckin chest.

Weird turnout for the ski day but guess most people put their skis away, plus everyone was tripping to dubstep at the main peak base so lines were small. Nice to ski hero snow and see pow in the trees in April but fuck I wanna be able to land tricks at 8 or 9 before chop starts around 11, next Saturday says 61 so lfg.

ya I'm not vibing with a lot of the scene/culture. It's not really my style and there aren't a lot of people that understand the way I think. They are good people but they just seem to not understand. people don't walk around looking for a move or talking to random people. It seems like people are scared. It's not the best vibe but it's not the worst. Obviously this is just how I feel. I know plenty of people who like it here.

Dope, haha yesterday when I was there my friend got a concussion trying to flip Pali cornice and when I went to patrol HQ with him I ended up in the waiting room with a ton of you guys trying out for ski patrol. I was pretty confused for a while until I saw my friend getting loaded into the ambulance and realized I wasn't waiting in the right place.
Best of luck grabbin the job tho!

Yeah he's just cringey too me, one of those super positive people but in an annoying way kinda, he just kinda does a trick and lands it really clean but with zero pizzaz. The Bunch arms he was pulling this season was horrendous too.

Daymakers are officially the greatest skiing gear I have ever invested in. Got to try em out on a groomer at a closed ski area today and they held up awesome and weigh next to nothing. Fuck the daymaker haters. See ya in the Montana BC next winter with my real bindings.

He's crazy good and already tossing insane shit at like 18 but his vibe throws me off and just kinda how he does his tricks combined with the tighter clothing. Not a fan of vlogging no matter what really, such an annoying way to try and make yourself well known.

I’m one of those people who enjoys summer as much as winter. Spring is my least favorite time of the year. Too cold and shitty to skate but all the resorts are closed. Fuck that shit.
