sickskiFelt like shit today. Throat hurts, lungs hurt and lots of coughing. Hopefully I'm not coming down with the flu...
OregonDeadSome really bad shit going around in Oregon RN. I'm just over it. Missed 3 days of work last week. Doctor friend I know said people are doing better when they load up on vitamin C and zinc. Suck on zinc lozenges and it might keep it from getting as bad. My coworkers kids didn't take care of themselves and now they have pneumonia.
PataguccimaneContacts are frustrating as fuck. Even more frustrating that it’s such a simple task and I’ve already broken a lens trying to get them in for the first time on my own. Even more frustrating than that having gotten a day of skiing with them in and it was the most amazing thing ever.
fuck

.FryI hate when other people screw me over. It’s fine if I screw myself but when other people screw me that’s a different story. I called a month in advance to make an appointment with my garage to get my car worked on, a whole month. When I showed up on my appointed day to drop it off they acted like I’d never made an appointment and told me it would be a couple weeks... seriously?
.CJ.I don't understand why people in the automotive industry circle jerk Snap-On. I realize they're good products and some stuff has a lifetime warranty, but there are other tool brands that are just as good in quality and warranty.
Titus69New guy at work is sus and it's such a coincidence he works here of all places for a retired game warden. His patrol route went past my road so he knows exactly where I live, and the kid I work withs brother has gotten into trouble with him before he retired, dude so clearly looks at us both knowing were stupid stoners. Nice guy otherwise, was on North Woods Law too.
gapersarefriendsKinda bummed about the durability of my 4frnt cols...i mean I’m not the kindest to skis but never seen so many topsheet chips in 15 days of riding ever
sickskiThat shit was happening to me, but recently I've been more careful about knocking my skis together and such and I'm barely gettin any chips.

gapersarefriendsYeah ive just been hearing about people riding their 4frnts for years and kinda surprised. I have almost 90 days on my jj’s and they’re in worse shape but not much worse
sickskiThe top sheets seem to fall apart, but the col bases are indestructible. I'm fairly surprised I haven't gotten a core shot yet.

taylornickyOnly thing holding me back right now is being in a lot of debt to get a masters degree in something that I’m not entirely sure I want to be my focus for my life
SegsxiHow do you wear a helmet? Like honestly how do you wear one and expect to keep your ears and stuff warm. I wear my Balaclava underneath a cap above that then helmet on top. Helmet kind of fits but then it kind of doesn’t, what is the correct way to wear a helmet to stay safe and warm at the same time?

Titus69I work at a Volvo dealership basically as a slave, but I love it. Wash cars, show people their loaner cars, do quick maintenance like headlights or oil top off, and clean the shop. This new guy is a transponder so he drives way far away to drop off people's cars and come back in our loaner cars or vice versa, everyday he gets asked about being on the show lol. Said it's temporary and aside the sketch factor being a doper, he's pretty cool, just stares at me often.
weedooThat sounds cool, are you part of an apprenticeship program?
Titus69No, I'm sure I could somehow become a tech with the help of the staff, but were not hiring and fuck being a tech. Only upgrade in my job would be at an even nicer dealership doing the same stuff, but I'm considering getting into detailing at one point, we have the equipment and my coworker has experience so I know how to do some stuff already.

icedwhat program?
taylornickyThat’s kind of the issue. I’m not positive. I just got my BS in Chemistry. I really enjoy organic chemistry, natural resources, environmental policy, water runoff, snow science, atomospheric chemistry. It’s all just a mess.
