Mri tonight. Twisted/buckled the knee at pc bout 2 weeks ago. Doc said it felt stable but well see what he says after the mri. Had to hum it back east for insurance reasons. Hoping i dont need surgery so i can at least get back west and probably be filmer bitch for a while. i miss my girl and my homies and just utah in general. The east is lame man

Found my exact job with the same company in salt lake, if it weren't for a car issue, having a season pass here, and minor injuries I'd be talking to my current boss about talking to the slc boss about transferring for the winter. Fuck I wanna send it, shorter drive, better skiing, and all the homies are there.

often though that maybe the 18s are a bit overkill but I ride my STH2 16s at a 13 and still pop out.

I'm contemplating getting another pair of pivots or just get some tyrolia attacks for the new skis I'm getting... Fuck though it's so annoying having to pivot the binding around to adjust it before putting it on and not being able to replace the brakes ever also sucks. Decisions...

I hate when other people screw me over. It’s fine if I screw myself but when other people screw me that’s a different story. I called a month in advance to make an appointment with my garage to get my car worked on, a whole month. When I showed up on my appointed day to drop it off they acted like I’d never made an appointment and told me it would be a couple weeks... seriously?

Yes. I lived there for 4 years. Going on a roadtrip with someone from Oregon and leaving the state was pretty funny sometimes.

"where do I put it" was a common line that received a lot of "that's what she said" responses.

If a restaurant (we’ll go with pizza for simplicity) contaminates your food with say... weed and you eat it but are regularly drug tested... what would happen?

would the restaurant get in trouble? Would you personally be in trouble (as a result of a failed drug test)? is it something that you’d have to report at the time to free yourself of liability? Has this ever happened before?

If you are at a job that drug tests, amd you know one is coming in a time you can not pass because of it....and you can prove it's the pizza place....you need to go after them hard. Your job isnt going to listen to you spout off nonsense about how your pizza place drugged you at the time of testing.

I would imagine this would be a time to involve the police.....its just weed but your job is far more important.

Sounds so crazy to me. I think I've only ever been to one or two gas stations that weren't self serve.

In Oregon it's ALL of them.

The most annoying part is WAITING for some dude to come out and pump your gas, and that they all shut at about 10pm, so if you're trying to drive through oregon at like 3am, there's only like 4 servos on the entirety of i5 you can go to to get fuel. None on 97 other than Kfalls and Bend. The only ones open at that hour are Arco stations from my experience, so your credit card won't work. It's GREAT...

I definitely have pumped my own gas in Oregon out of pure frustration...

YUP. So many times we went to the station in Welches or Govy and you just sat there for a minute or two before they actually come out. Normally, a minute or two isn't that long, but when it should only take 5 minutes to pump gas, that couple minutes is substantial. Plus, they usually never are there when you're done, so then you're waiting another bit of time to actually leave.

All in all, coming from NY where I have pumped gas all my life, I feel it's more inconvenient for me to wait on them, than it is for me to pump my own gas. So I generally disliked getting gas there.




Would also like to point out that someone from New Jersey(other full-service state) actually said "We pump fists, not gas" one time and I felt like giving up on life right then and there.

got my Devastators remounted with some fresh pivot18s and the amount of joy I have knowing after tomorrow I have 2 days to go fuck around on them again is wonderful. Missed these skis so much and it was brutal not having them available for all those epic slushy may spring days at the bird.

the do-it-all whip for spring skiing. incredibly fun in the slush and enough width to handle some creamy spring storms.

Honestly can’t wait for my vishnus to snap in half so I can buy a pair of on3ps. Really over this wishy washy noodle of ski. I liked them last year but I miss having a do it all monster strapped to my feet. These things are all over the place

Same in NJ. When I was living in Philly I would travel to Jersey all the time for work. More than once I stopped for gas, got out and started pumping it myself and got yelled at.

Haven’t given up on skiing, will be there as much as I can. But taking a spin class this semester (lol), but it fits in nicely with my schedule and bops off an elective. Super stoked to ride indoor and be ready for the trails when they hit a little earlier than usual..
