Hahaha the power was out in my tiny little town for most of the day and so many people were whining on Facebook about the cold. How the fuck someone could live out here in the middle of nowhere without a wood stove is beyond me. And it's not even that cold here yet, if the power goes out in January when it's consistently -20 or lower people are gonna lose their minds.

So jealous, I have a 2 week trip planned for Colorado over winter break and my friends have been sending me snaps of them skiing on straight dirt

I spent a week there last may and it was life changing for me as well

I never understood how all the people who camp out in the woods for the entire summer there manage to not become a disgusting smelly pigs

I recall it being like 120$ or something absurdly cheap. I think it goes from mid/end of April to the first week of June or something. Definitely worth a trip if you’ve never been, especially if they’re coming off a good winter. They had a 180 inch base when I was there last may, it was unreal

get the pin for the RV park. I showered there once a week. Creek behind our campsite, good rinse off spot- NO SOAP in the stream!!

One of the dumbest things I've ever done was driving from one ski resort to another down the road like 10 minutes in ski boots while tripping my nuts off on some acid. Never drove in ski boots again.

Yeah I think I'll tell him to keep it a secret. I saw a ski patrol guy doing it too but I haven't seen anyone boasting about it.

its like real-life minesweeper except its with gear you spent a lot of money on. tried hopping over what appeared to be a log but turns out it was a boudler i split myself on and busted the sidewall/edge underfoot on my YLEs :(

Oh shit! How bad is the edge damage. Here's to hoping they're still rideable.
I honestly put my skis away really fast last night because I didn't want to look at the bases. Hopefully the only new scratches are just superficial but I did some ptex work a few days ago and I think I'm getting better at it.
Couldn't think of anything I'd rather use my skis for besides slashing pow and trying to dodge rocks and trees. :)

Dude. If you can't feel or move part of your foot and you're worried about it, go see a doctor. Yes I guess you may have pinched/damaged a nerve, but I didn't go through years of med school. I think Ian Compton can't feel his foot or something from a spine injury.

I'm not a doctor but if you have had any recent hard bails or anything that couldve affected your spine I'd get it looked at. Having a limb asleep that long could be nerve damage, something with your spinal coloum or a blockage of circulation.
