DeebieSkeebiesYLE's or Ravens 2morrow?
tbh the yles are rly fun to ski on groomers and butter and ski switch on
on the other hand you have no idea how good the ravens can grease chords
DeebieSkeebiesdont wanna speculate and gossip but dwise is riding skis that arent 4frnt in a latest instagram post.
dont wanna see 4FRNTs big players jump ship :[ Favorite ski brand ever, theyve been soo good.
.lenconReally wish the YLE was still around and made in like a 182:(
DeebieSkeebiesim on the 187's with the cool dream catcher topsheet and sth2 16's
such a gr8 ski omg. I take them out a lot in the spring on corn days because they just cruise everything.
Also just finally watched TRIUMPH and all I can say is wow. Seeing tanner in this kind of form is almost surreal, unhumanlike almost. Mid 30's and showing no signs of stopping at all.
OregonDeadTempted to buy some Hojis right now. Hmmm. Gotta get some work done though
DeebieSkeebiesits been a really strange and a lot of the time mostly shitty past 5 months life and stuff.
that first run of the year today was easily the most satisfying one ive had in a while. Greasing turns and blasting bumps down groomers today was a hoot. Its awful skiing but I love shitfuck conditions.
So happy skiing is back. Like face-hurts-from-smiling happy.
OregonDeadWeird early early skiing is actually some of the very best skiing in terms of fun. Took me a while to figure that out but now I head up every chance I get in the fall.
DeebieSkeebiesRode the YLEs and it's such a fun ski in shitfuck conditions.
DeebieSkeebiesthe old kid in me is still used to November skiing being so mythical in Michigan and used to shit conditions and having fun with them haha. But today was so nice. And I work 3-11 all weekend so more time for turns.

Pray for pow. All we gotta do at this point.
.lenconSuch a fun ski in every condition ever.
Anyone here have any experience with anti-depressants?

Titus69I think working full time and skiing early on weekends has lead my body to just naturally wake up around 645-7 when I don’t have a 5:15am or 6:30am alarm set. It’s nice but on days off it’s annoying.
.lenconThis happens to me sometimes and I love it. I have an 8 AM 2 days a week next semester and I'll also be able to ski 4 full days a week. I'm gonna be waking up early a lot!
Titus69Never been a late sleeper but it only sucks if it’s like a lazy Sunday and I’m up at 7 with nothing planned. Getting up early for skiing is awesome, low traffic and the sun is just rising over the hills and it’s nice. Always try to get 6-8 hours a night, usually only sleep longer if I pass out drunk, which is rare.

.lenconYeah, getting 8 hours of sleep is nice if I can pull that off. But yeah, waking up early can be a drag sometimes.
sickskiIt's pretty sad that this could happen. I'm a huuuge fan of 4frnt, I skied on 4frnt's for the longest time made the switch to Icelantic, and now I ski on the wise and the Kye 110. Just me speculating, what if 4frntb doesn't have the money to continue his ski? My other thought is what if he's gonna redesign his ski?
Titus69I know it’s hard to control it for them, but old people can just be so fucking rude. Like Grandma just quit bitching about my long hair and emabarassing me, tryna slay a family friend.
.lenconYou're trying to hook up with someone at thanksgiving?
That just seems like a really, really bad idea.
DaphWell I think it's finally time to retire my 2013 filthy riches, they're officially wet noodles. Sad day, those were fun skis.
.MASSHOLE.Rock skis?
DaphMost definitely. Not gonna sell them or anything silly like that but I'm gonna need a new daily driver that doesn't feel like it's gonna bend in half
.lenconHow were you using a filthy as a daily at big sky??
dadiHonest opinion, do you this theres a difference between skiing a mens vs. women skis. Just dropped a hot dollar on some men's black crows and now I'm getting scared. Any advice/council would be appriciated.

DeebieSkeebiesseems like most girls that wanna charge complain about how soft and noodly a lot of "women skis" are.
good choice i think. i see some ladies at the bird ripping skis id get a bit scared to ski myself so can respect the send haha.
there really is nothing like riding a ski that kicks your ass, though. A learning experience and only makes you better. I remember my first days on the YLEs and being physically and mentally exhausted from trying to learn how they ride, and can honestly say its one of the best skis ever.
McPankcakesAnybody else have chronic back pain and know of a way to fix it, I'm dying over here
.lenconYLES weren't too hard to ride, you were probably just surprised how well they did everything. They actually did have a weird float tho, but I liked it. They sunk in a bit instead of staying right on top of everything, it was nice
