probably a terrible idea to leave all your ski shit in your truck all the time but the trusty BCA blade n shaft came in real handy with this afternoons clearing of snow from your truck.

just like last year dude. we were all sitting in training at deer valley just watching it nuke with no resorts open and terrible snowpack and its such a fucking tease.

oh well, maybe everything will open up next tuesday.

Dropped my Magnus (Magnuses?) off to get mounted with STH2 13s. I wrote "mount mark on left sidewall" in big all caps on the paperwork and underlined it, so they hopefully won't mess them up. Too bad they didn't have orange ones. $25 mount fee, so not bad.

Well I’m at urgent care after some head hits today and the crazy doctor guy says I’ve been concussed but no cat scan needed and to lay low. So I’m guessing ski next weekend?

Also, fuck loaded turkey today

Ok so last night I go home from the hospital after they said I had a concussion (nothing serious) but I got home and went to poop and got a nosebleed, now 10 minutes ago I go to do the same, push hard and immediately blood drips to the Cumberland farms floor from my nose....is this normal? No blood in my ears but a ton of nosebleeds? Now my mouth tastes like blood and I can’t poop :(.

I went to urgent care last night to get checked out and they didn’t seem to think a cat scan was necessary as I did too. It’s a common concussion symptom but the only thing to lead me to think it’s the air being dry would be the fact that both times a was able to hack up a bloody chunk of mucus. Otherwise it’s been somewhat humid. My arm kinda hurts too and they were asking me last night if my arms felt weak.

buddy of mine did some touring around alta/upper LCC this weekend. Anything north facing above ten thousand feet is all fucked up. UAC posted something earlier today on instagram. Weak scary layers on top of literally mud.

Another piss poor start for utah snowpack, but it came through in the end.

My motivation is dead and Im faced with moving back to Ohio to get a grip or continue to stress and get more lost without financial stability out west. It's fucked. Alta patrol set off some real good slides Saturday and lots of skier triggrred slabs on North facing stuff. Fuckin forget about south side facing grizzly gulch stuff.

It's sad but it's opening week,. The bird will be open Wednesday from 9 - 3 and see kinda discouraging people. No shops are open, tickets are full price, and they are limitng ticket sales.

I'll be there tho with skis on feet and beer in hand
