PataguccimaneAnybody have experience with getting contacts for skiing? Kind of a struggle I’ve been having the last couple years as I’ve been fine skiing without my glasses since my vision isn’t all that bad but decided I’m done with the headaches and weird depth perception but since I’m away at school I can’t necessarily set up an appointment with my optometrist back home but figure I should probably get something done soon though.
Jesse_Yo i actually just got contacts a couple months ago and skied the past two days with them. I gotta say man it makes a world of a difference. No foggy glasses or having to deal with them under everything and you could wear sunglasses if you wanted.
Changed my life tho. Sure it's a fucking pain getting used to them at first and the first few times putting them on and taking them off but you'll get there. Also pro tip from a fellow newschoolers: make sure your fingers dry with taking out contacts.

Spagett+Do you need touring boots if you just want to go on day trips and ski slackcountry?
SendyMcSendyfaceYeah. I love ns, but you'd think that they'd have some idea how to appeal to us ski goons. Also, do any idaho homies know anybody selling pow skis?
gapersarefriendsDid you just move to boise?
SendyMcSendyfaceJust in boise for a few days, moving to Driggs on Tuesday.
gapersarefriendsWell i dont think any of my boys are selling any pow skis but u should hit up the outdoor exchange and outdoor pursuit when you're in town, outdoor consignment places can sometimes score
