How much do you think it costs to have a shop set up those binding freedom insert thingys? I'm thinking that might be the way to go with my whitedots. Still pissed that my F10s shit the bed. Think I want something burlier for them because I like them at the resort but I have the skins already so I might just bite the bullet and buy some new boots and vipecs or something.
Currently trying to decide if I want to go to a tech school or college. I don't really want to be stuck in an office all day so tech school would be good for that plus I love to work with materials/create. But, I kind of feel like a tech school would be a waste because school comes to me pretty easily most of the time. Don't really want to go into the military anymore.

Look at CAST, they do conversion but it's pricey, and you could actually get the cast pieces to switch out the toe piece on your binding. Other than that I can recommend gettin the Pinnacle 130 boot or the tecnica Cochise boot

I guess I haven't priced the inserts but Cast doesn't necessarily seem too much. I don't know about using pivot 18s though since that will mean the lowest DIN setting is 1 higher than what I ride now. It would be nice to ride down with a regular Alpine toe with some elasticity though. Wondering how bindings like the Vipec ski.

The P18 does still have the regular toe, the lower DIN versions with the “dual” signifier have the newer toe. You can buy a different AFD for the P18 that makes it work for WTR, but I’m 99% sure it comes standard with the regular alpine one.

It snows in October EVERY YEAR. Honestly as far as I can remember, it has snowed here almost every month of the year.. and we always get snow storms from Oct-May.
