Nevada has some interesting gun laws. Nevada does not prohibit possession of assault weapons, 50-caliber rifles or large-capacity ammunition magazines, and machine guns are tightly regulated but legal to own as long as they were made before May 1986 and are registered with the federal government.
quick rundown of NV gun laws:
-No purchasing permit is required and there is no need to register or license handguns, rifles and shotguns in Nevada.
-A permit is not needed to carry rifles and shotguns.
-There is no limit on the number of firearms an individual can possess.
-Gun silencers or "suppressors", which muffle or silence the sound of a gun being shot, are legal, despite federal law generally prohibiting the use and ownership of silencers.
-There is no mandatory waiting period before residents can purchase a firearm.
-There is no magazine capacity limit for assault rifles.
-Semi-automatic weapons and machine guns are legal in Nevada if they are possessed in adherence to federal law.
-The transfer or possession of 50-caliber rifles and larger-capacity ammunition magazines is legal in Nevada.
-Concealing a firearm without a permit is a felony in Nevada. But a concealed firearm permit may be obtained by taking an eight-hour concealed firearm permit course approved by the sheriff.

Ummm.. is that some sort of endangered species or something? I guess sometimes rodents are and I don't know what you are dealing with. When my dog cornered a mouse the other day I just gave it a quick heel stomp and I think it was a humane way to go. We used to do the same with nutria but those things are pests.
I ran over a squirrel skiing one time. Nuking down a groomer full of gapers, sticking to the side to avoid them and the little fucker came out the trees and I didn't see him til it was too late and I felt his little body break under my skis. Going too fast to stop and see what was up but you can see the run from the lift and when I was riding back up I saw a ski schooler pick up it's very limp, dead corpse and fling it into the trees.

Haha it’s always a hoot to see those little fuckers scoot across the trail. Would definitely feel bad if I ran over one while skiing surprisingly. I don’t feel remorse for them any other time. After getting into small game hunting the last few years and being on multiple raccoon hunts I’ve kind of lost the whole “fuzzy cute forest friends” idea.
Speaking of raccoon hunts... I get to pick up a 10 week old blue tick coon hound on Thursday. Very very stoked. Love hounds.

i cant even being to fathom what those survivors felt. they'll be a wreck forever now. no way you can come out of something like that and be 100% after.
hate to get hung up on the negatives. its not much but it was 20 degrees tonight walking back to my truck. that gave me a bit of solace knowing skiing is around the corner.
The whole of the developed world is watching in amazement as events like this, and sandy hook, continue to happen yet some americans still try to argue against some form of regulation. We simply cannot fathom how such simple things as back ground checks, mental health checks and more stringent requirements for owning certain types of firearms get hit with such backlash. You guys have a gun problem, and unless you start to take steps in the right direction, next week it could be you and your girlfriend at a concert, or your fucking toddler at preschool.

That's fucking nuts. In NY there is sooooooooo so so so much regulation. Probably why there are so many anti gun control people here- add any more laws and you literally won't have guns here haha

Must be a big sky thing because the same thing happened to me there, except he kinda bounced off the tip of my ski and lived
Took my doggie to the vet and while we were in the waiting room I watched someone walk out with just their leash and collar but no pet and it was the saddest ):

they could have just dropped them off for surgery or something that requires an overnight stay, typically vet clinics use slip leads for moving dogs instead of the normal collars because they're way more convenient and easier to put on/take off for quickly moving a dog or putting them in and out of a kennel. I hope that was the reason, not that they put their dog down :(

ohhh gotcha. I hope that was the case! Come to think of it they do have like a doggie day care/boarding area. I hope that's where lil puppers was going!

I hope so too! Boarding is the same situation, it's a huge pain in the ass to try and wrestle a collar and leash onto a stressed out or excited dog, most kennel techs and vets just go the slip lead route.

I started removing people who i just never really even knew from all my social media, my friend told me he only follows things that are relevant to him, and his close friends. He hardly follows anyone from high school besides the lifelong friends and current friend groups. I delete someone just about everyday and it makes my social media less shitty and annoying.
Fuck 1 month until I move to Idaho. The last month before ski season is the one I hate the most. Stoked to finally have the time to build model planes again, should take my mind of skiing for a little while.

End of the summer is always so brutal, I legitimately get almost depressed this time of the year, every year
