housing situations in ski towns/areas is something that desperately needs to be addressed. its happening all over, and its an absolute fucking shame and disgrace we cant provide affordable housing to people who bust their asses to serve these dickwad guests and 2nd home owners. Its not fair. PC just builds and builds and builds all these flashy condo buildings but nevermind the people who have to drive all the way from the depths of SLC to manage them. I cant imagine what the scene in Tahoe is like, probably a bit similar.

I hope you find something, ski bum life is fun but lot of people need to realize that sleeping in your damned car and eating ramen every night takes a fuckin toll on the human spirit. but if thats how you wanna go about things then hey, more power to you.

housing is probably the main reason I still haven't left Ohio. I don't feel like paying what is probably extortionate rent rates and still barely being able to find a place to live every year. Shit's super cheap here, you can find a nice appartment for 350/month

i think i want to kill myself right now because I think i just accidentally threw away my weed kit (piece, about 6 grams of good smoke, papers, filter paper, etc.) and its buried in garbage juice.

ALL IS SAVED I FOUND IT. IT WAS IN THE TRASH CAN. I threw my stash kit bag out (it was this cool makeup bag thing) but i had an airtight little jar that can hold like 10 grams and it was half nug/half shake. i was freaking out, i thought i set it down somwhere when i got home from work and was yearning to get absolutely ripped when i got home.

really think outside the box, and give him a bottle of something but give it to him the day after. Nothing cures a hangover quite like hard alcohol.

I've replied to one of your posts before relating to this, but I really feel for you dude.

I'm trying to move west this year. I originally was looking for housing in Summit County before totally bailing on that plan due to the shitstorm that is their local housing market. Changed my plans and have been looking for housing in Bend, OR since August and have made 0 progress. Luckily, this morning I got ahold of a landlord in OR who happens to be from the same area of NH I grew up in and can relate to my situation.. Fingers crossed things move forward with that this week otherwise I'm at the point where I'm ready to just send it and live in my car until I can find somewhere to lay my head permanently.

I realize this is probably going to become beating a dead horse, similar to when they deleted the headphone jack, but...

I'm really not sure how I feel about the lack of a home button.. There has to be another way to unlock the phone other than it just recognizing your face. They mentioned its' functional even when a user has a hat/glasses on, but my first thought was what about on the lift or at the top of the park with my helmet/goggles/facemask? Surely it wont recognize me then.. Also, they mention being able to close apps by swiping up. So how often am I going to accidentally close FB/Insta/Web browser when I scroll too quickly up or down?

Also- that $999 price tag..

No one likes change, but yeah the home button was one of my favourite features about the iphone

I'm gonna get an 8+. I'm not waiting for the 10 to come out due to me not having a cell phone for the last 3 months. But I'm pretty sure you can swipe up to unlock the phone as well as using the power button. Definitely different but apple always does this and it seems to work out okay

My supervisor just told me an interesting story.

Her old roomate had this "ski buddy" male friend that her roommate and him would go on this ski trip to Chile every year. This girl starting dating another dude who in his own right was opposed to the trip. Your girl and another guy on a different continent? Come on, son.

So her ski buddy (middle aged bum with tons of cash somehow) made her a deal and said he would take her bf cat or hell skiing twice this past season, which brings me to my big question


Would you let your own significant other get piped or fuck someone else so you can go ski BC pillows or ak spines?

Good way to look at it, I view it as 2 months and that sucks. Every time I somewhat think of anything about skiing I cringe up with excitement cause I wanna go so bad, I'm just sick of doing nothing but work and skate.

This is the first year ever that I have ski friends. Two of my real good homies are linking up and wanna devote the entire winter to park skiing and urban and I can't fucking wait. Years prior I've only had snowboard friends and Mingg, but mingg only skis at my hill like twice a year. But I'm too stoked to hit the hill and go on trips with them and film and shit. Took about 14 years but it's finally happened.

And I'm 21 so i can experience the nightlife on trips too.

This is a really good point.. maybe voice control will be enough? Can you unlock it with your voice?

I didn't do a ton of research, basically read an article or two about its release. So my whole argument/opinion could be moot. But I'd assume there must be a way to unlock with a passcode like you can do now.
