I get so bored in the summer and this place is always just dead while some good content here put out besides windells videos. I just took notice that I haven't seen Dennis_Reynolds in a while, I think.

frenchys holdin it down in albania or somethin. but i miss technopotimus, him and mike-o would allways have me rollin in my computer chair a few years back.

But with the new alert system i dont see why NS hasnt charged back with people.

I mean fuck what else is there to do in the summer at 1140 something than dick around on NS and tinychat? Miss the old days

Most of us old fucks have jobs now. Even as a teacher I still have to find a gig in the summer to stay afloat.

Also I feel like everyone's best friends like are all skiers and they always shred together but like I don't have that and it sucks like my friends will ski with me but I'm just like way past their skill level and it isn't always super fun so a lot of times I find myself making either new friends on the mountain which can be fun or shredding solo. I just want what all yalls have tbh

yeah, when i got on ns i was like 14, everybody who was anybody on here back then was probably the age i am now, cant say i see myself logging in a bunch of posts on a ski forum when im 26-27 but its still fun and is a place where i get to connect with people all around the world, really hope to see this place never go out completely.

i feel this so much. Im one of the only skiers at my hill and i dont have anybody im super tight with to shred with. Like im super close with my local crew bc im on park crew at my mountain but theres no like crew of skiers who get it, if you know what im saying. But my one of my buddies who ive really became close with over the last 2 years is making the switch from snowboarding to skiing this season and gonna shred hard with me which im super stoked about. Gonna be super cool finally having a homie down to ski with me and progress with.

I've always been surprised there aren't more park skiers at peek n peak. The setup is too nice

Interview with snowbird went well,. Arranging a time and place to meet with other managers to get something rolled out.

Would be foolish to say no to this. Same things I did at deer valley + free bird pass + perks + pro deals + more pay + tips + a badass mountain to call the office. Fuck yeah to employment for the next 6 months - a year

its the area. 80% of the people that ride here are from erie, and they all snowboard. Ive known maybe 4 kids that are from erie that were really into freeskiing. Only 1 was as passionate about it as me and hes out in utah now. Theres 2 other skiers who get it but schedules never really line up and its more of a yo what up on the hill rather than homies mobbing and feeding off each other.

I wish i grew up in a different area and all my friends were freeskiers. I could only have imagined how much fun we would have had 2009-2014 being teenagers ripping around and getting stoked on new jiberish and going to premiers and shit. Sounds like too much fun.

Thats why i love going out to utah, i have so many homies out there that i wish i could spend more than a week or two with them a year.

I'm planning on living in SLC for a month this season, if I can. I'll have 2 homies with their own places but I don't if I can live at either yet. I will seriously live in a basement and on a couch, I do it all summer at home. Hopefully in February I can do it, also should make sure my knee is ok.

In terms of money, being able to pay the bills and be able to keep doing the things you love i.e. skiing and being in the mountains.

But deep pow with your best friends and being able to still chase passions is what matters the most TBH. Just trying to find that balance of keeping your shit together and still wanting to play all the time is what can be difficult

Mmm honestly, I'm gonna go with achievement of personal goals, being able to do what makes you happy. Success is so subjective, one person's success could be a nice house, a career, spouse, kids. Another's could be a harem of bitches serving them gold bars on platters. All subjective, just do what makes you happy, collect good memories.
