Titus69Lol the planning just started so I don't know. We're planning to go from Utah to NH in 2 days, my friend I'm going with has done it in reverse. I think we're basically just going straight across through Colorado and Nebraska, Ohio and so on.
Never done my own road trip outside of New England so I'm hyped to see at least the first half out west.
Chubz.i would drive from salt lake (im assuming thats where youll be leaving from) to omaha, then send it all day until you get somewhere in NY, then stay or pull off at a rest area and send up to new Hampshire in the AM. We left SLC at 1030 and didnt get into omaha until almost 1am, left omaha at 7 and got home at around 9 o clock that night.

My step dad did it and I think that's where a lot of my passion is, I have gone to Africa on 2 occasions to do medical and I want to get my emt. What exactly do you like about it and what was the process like as far as getting the job?

.lenconGetting your EMT should help depending on what agency you work for. I work for the BLM, and I would say it's about half and half on who has an EMT and who doesn't. Having saw experience is likely more important to a lot of people rather than an EMT. Really just depends though.
The job is just awesome. My district is full of awesome people, im learning a lot which is tight, fighting fires can be cool, I stay in shape, get paid well, etc etc. I've only been doing it for about a month and have only been called on 3 fires, but it's awesome so far.

Titus69Found out this girl who was in my senior advisory class wanted me too late, she dated a kid for a brief period but otherwise I could've gotten her throughout the year. I sat with the girl she'd talk to everyday, guess she didn't know either, and things just didn't work really.
daannnnieelliterally the same scenario, but the friend also had a thing for me and blatantly didn't tell me. Was not happy when I eventually found out. Being straight up with people is the best way to go about things.

Titus69Got blood drawn for a follow up Lyme test, and I think the girl took more blood than the guy before and now my arm hurts shoulder to hand with tingling fingers. Don't remember that last time but it's pretty annoying.
