Bodhisattva_Ya'll shoulda came to Montana State. We have a whole gol' dang bachelor's program for snow science. My homie is in his 3rd year and loves it, gets to spend one day a week on the hill digging pits and getting hands on experience which is cool. Basically just hydrology/geology combined with some snow-sport related specifics.

Randy_QuenchStory of my life. I've officially spent more on rebuilding/replacing/modding than I spent on the car itself. By far the largest (but most fun) financial mistake of my life.
Performance wise it's very lightly modded, basically just a full exhaust. Stock 2.5l sti shortblock, rebuilt bottom end, catless up-pipe, 3in catted invidia downpipe to a 3in invidia g200 back. My plan is to make it as "reliable" as possible for a fun DD, not to make it a racecar.
What are you driving?
daannnnieelcurrently i'm dailying a na miata and driving a f250 when I can't. It came with some nameless lowering springs. I've put around 40,000km on it from the time I got it 2 summers ago lol. I originally got it due too the fact it was a good price, and I was driving 300+ km a day to and from work. It held up until that was long finished. Water pump, rad and a couple cracked hoses are the only real issues i've ran into so far.
I would really like to pick up a 5 speed forester or legacy when I get some funds really going here. The miata has worked as a daily but if I actually make it run like I want, it would be a bit too scary. There's a hyabusa conversion coming out soon, that would enable me to throw a street bike engine into it. Miata that revs to 13k? yes.

We were dark from about 10pm-2pm today but the summit is in and out. My dog is basically snorkeling in the back yard, running around sticking his nose in the air for oxygen.
It's fantastic to look at but everything is closed, so I have to agree, one would have to find that they are not missing much at this current time.
taylornickyPower went out around the same time but I drove down to Reno around 9am so I'm not sure when it went back on/if it went back on. It feels really nice to not unbury my car every hour hahaha

MinggI tried to ski on my chronics tonight after skiing on my Jessie's for about 2 weeks straight and it was fucking weird. It felt like nothing was under my feet and so jittery. Like I couldn't keep my skis straight hahaha it just felt like they were going back and forth like they had a mind of their own. Which is weird because they're cambered and my jessie's are rockered so isn't that not supposed to happen on firmer snow? I took like 3 runs and immediately swapped out for my jessie's and felt soooo much better haha

Rparronce you go rocker you never go back. I rode full camber skis a few days ago after riding rocker for years, and I felt like I was learning to ski again. Fucking shit felt like toothpicks on my feet
