safarisamSo I come home to a shredded glove, and apparently it was "outside." They're my favorite gloves, and they mean a LOT to me. I doubt they were left outside. I asked my boyfriend and he said his mom's puppy was chewing it and she DIDNT STOP HER. I'm pissed and all she says is "oh well." She owes me a new glove. I don't leave my shit laying around in the open, especially my favorite gloves. JFC take responsibility for you god awful dog. I can't stand that puppy.
Bodhisattva_If you don't use poles and you can somehow keep it warm i'd let er rip. They'll probably give you a splint and that's really it. At least that's what happened when I broke my thumb, pretty sure I snowboarded like the week after.
.lenconI know you're pissed, but just have her or you buy a new pair of Kincos. You'll spend $25 max on the glove and the SnoSeal. And they are the best gloves out there.

cydwhitHit the biggest cliffs I've ever dropped today and felt great until about 1pm when I sent a big diving board between two trees, overshot, landed way past the tranny, compressed, and messed up my belly.
I think I may have gotten a hernia, not 100% sure, still playing the Web MD game. It hurts pretty bad, and makes it hard to ski, which is not good because I head to Bachelor to shoot skiing for a week tomorrow. Stoked......

cydwhitYeah, I don't think mine was that violent, but it still hurts a lot when I cough and I can't really twist my upper abdomen. Thinking it's less of a hernia and maybe more of a sprained ab or something. Either way, it doesn't really matter, my ticket's lined up and my bags are packed, I may just ski like an old man all week.

supermagician__i broke my thumb really good, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with breaking joints on fingers.
I've broke the most outward joint on the thumb, in a T below my nail and vertically through my joint. My question is how long do you think until I can ski? I don't use poles, and it was just set properly today and I was told two months.
I don't want to wait 2 months, i have xrays in a week and i'll ask more questions then.

foolmetwiceSo hyped to ski tahoe next week. It's gonna be weird coming from skiing keystone and vail every weekend instead of skiing 100' vert hyland but a good weird. I'll already have my pow legs under me! Also will be my first time skiing tahoe on the epic pass and I'll be staying in north lake so I'll be at flatstar most of the week/: Sunny tahoe park laps don't sound too bad though (; hoping to make it out to kirkwood for a day since I've never been and heard good things. And then a classic day at sugar bowl for old times sake, hopefully with the usual 2 feet of pow the day before I get there which I've come to expect.
