Titus69Ive been watching Worlds Strictest Parents for on hour on youtube, shits hilarious but my god Id hate to deal with those parents. S/O to my parents for being cool ass people.
jaimegilfishFrickin love it... the one where they go to Auckland (NZ) the kids are such typical little shits
Titus69The British kids are my favorites, they all just wanna smoke butts and get fucked up. Then they get caught and are all "fuck you I dont care about your rules Ill do what I want!!"
But seriously, some of those parents would be god awful. Gotta give your kids some freedom to learn on their own and explore or else theyre gonna be the uptight squares their parents are.
jaimegilfishI know fuck imagine your kids turning out so fucked up you had to send them on that show though ...

Bodhisattva_More likely they just turn into little shitbag liars and do what they want anyway. That's what I did. "Strict parents create sneaky children."
DaphIt was like -20 this morning and the hardware in my leg ached so fucking bad

Bodhisattva_Ya'll still hiring lifties?
DaphI'm sure we are, check online for apps, you can throw me down as a reference
Profahoben_212Do you know Collin White or Seth Clayborn?
DaphI'm pretty sure I know Seth, are they both liftys this year? There's like 100 of them so I haven't gotten to know everyone yet. As mechanics we don't interact too much with lift ops unless the lift breaks down and then names don't matter too much its more of a "hey lifty can you hit this button for me and see if the fault clears" haha
Profahoben_212If the Seth you know is black then you know him haha....used to ski with him back in the dizzay....interesting dude hahah
Daphyep that's him haha. I was all pissed off at one of our magic carpets the other day and called it a n****r in front of him because I'm a very unpolitically correct person who cusses like a sailor and he laughed his ass off. whoops. I'll keep my eye out for collin
DeebieSkeebiesfucking lmao, this new dude we got on our team this year has barely been in park city for like a month and already has the ski town dating scene figured out hahahaah.
Titus69I really just wish pooping wasn't a thing humans had to do.

DrZoidbergHow are people even getting fentanyl? Patches or what? I work in a pharmacy and I barely even seen any scripts for patches or other forms. Or is somebody making this shit in their toilet and calling it fent?
Speaking of opioids, buprenorphine/subutex/suboxone sucks. Very few of them are actually trying to get off it or lower their dosage. They're so hooked and it turns them into zombies, and they're usually annoying to deal with. They often get adderal or xanax with it too. Also, they always have an excuse as to why we should fill it early for them, which we don't, but it's funny to hear them.
No.QuarterBridger opening tomorrow and its snowing. fuck yeah
milk_manTaco Bell not treating you so well tonight?
MinggBecome a tranny and then you can be a girl and we don't poop so it's really a win win.
DeebieSkeebiesringsting is seriously awful but I would say I always look forward to the usual morning shit everyday. shit breaks at work are very therapeutic.

RparrYou know fent is the cheapest opiod to synth right?
Bodhisattva_Gonna be tiddymilk
casualYou sound like a shit bag trying to play doctor who has no clue what they're talking about with very little compassion for your fellow man. I feel bad for people that have to walk into your pharmacy and deal with someone who automatically presumes them to be lying junkies.
As someone who has worked with recovering addicts and alcoholics and has seen good people get addicted to opiates as a result of catastrophic injuries and struggle to end their dependency, your cynicism makes me sick. Seriously, how do people like yourself even end up in that line of work?
DrZoidbergI'm talking about people who aren't recovering. There are people who are doing it right, and good for them. There are some people who are more or less legal drug addicts, getting scripts from multiple doctors, trying to work around the system to fill things early or when they shouldn't. I don't assume they're lying. We know for a fact based on evidence from doctors and state monitoring programs. They're not trying to end their dependency at all. Then the yell and scream at us when we don't fill their stuff. If somebody got a 30 day supply of oxy 10 days ago, we can't give them more.
For example, one kid had gotten some oxy from some doctor, for lets say a five day supply. He then tried to fill a script for oxy 15 before then from a dentist before the first oxy supply ran out. We called the doctor who wrote the first oxys and he was totally unaware he was getting rxs from somebody else. The second doctor said not to fill the oxy 15 and the kid flipped out on us. These are the people that bother us, even though we didn't do anything wrong.
casualWell, I don't have an issue with anything you said in that post there, that's a clear cut case of someone in an active addiction drug seeking and you as a pharmacist/tech doing your job appropriately.
But, your original post was referring specifically to suboxone/subutex, and calling them zombies, commenting on their dosages and how "committed" they are to tapering, etc.
Those are two completely separate issues. I personally know people who have reclaimed their lives with the help of those drugs. And, I think the flippant, dismissive way you were talking about people on those drugs is fucked up. Have you ever personally wrestled with an opiate dependency? Has your brother, mom, girlfriend? I hope not, because it's awful.
And you fill prescriptions, not write them, so you've no idea about what people's dosages should be, and for many people, being on long term maintenance therapy is a last resort and a far better alternative to being a junkie.
I don't know man, I don't have much else to say in the form of a forum post, but I think it's a shame that people who are demonstrably attempting to improve their lives are mocked, ridiculed and judged by people who have no real intimate knowledge of their intentions or their character.
People filling their scripts early, doctor shopping, etc. are all obviously issues of another sort, but I've seen so many instances of good people being treated like shit simply because of a script they fill. I don't see the same for people filling amphetamines, benzos, ssri's, etc.
Maybe you came off harsher than intended because there's no tone attached to your message.
No.QuarterThis term needs to be used more.
Bodhisattva_I've started a campaign amongst my Bozeman friends to start using it. I hope it gains traction. It also makes my homies gf whom I don't like very uncomfortable so that's a bonus.
Also, Bridger was pretty tiddymilk this morning.
supermagician__i broke my thumb really good, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with breaking joints on fingers.
I've broke the most outward joint on the thumb, in a T below my nail and vertically through my joint. My question is how long do you think until I can ski? I don't use poles, and it was just set properly today and I was told two months.
I don't want to wait 2 months, i have xrays in a week and i'll ask more questions then.
