_faaaDoes anybody have recommendations for a nice looking and affordable (up to 150) winter jacket?
Requirements: I dont wanna look like I m going on a 2 weeks backcountry expedition. Means: No Patagonia, TNF and so on. Black or beige. I am not a traffic light. Not too puffy cause looking like a popsicle isn t my thing, but still warm and a slimmer fit. Does a jacket like this even exist?

.MASSHOLE.Look at European brands then. They'll be more expensive but if you can find them on sale, go for it.
These brands include Norrona, Haglofs, Millet, Mammut, Fjallraven, Rab, and Bergans of Norway.
There are some North American options but I've never put one on. They are Outdoor Research or Arc'Teryx.

To be honest, if they really wanted to they could end the show with that episode and I'd be 90% OK with it. There'd be a few loose ends, but on the whole it'd be pretty complete.
RparrWhere is this? Fent has been absolutely annihilating northeast Ohio. Out of a graduating class of 220, I know 20 kids who are dead 4 years later from that shit.

Many of them were junkies, some of them were new users. None of them were in real pain/had a condition. The common theme was they were all using heroin laced to hell with Fent

.Rybak.I have a few friends with fjallraven jackets and I've been very tempted to get one. They are extremely comfortable and warm whenever I've had borrow them.
Eddie Bauer makes some pretty nice jackets that you can get for cheap if you buy them at the right time.
Some north face jackets don't make you look like you're going on a backcountry expedition but they can get pretty spendy.

After a little research I ve found some Eddie Bauer stuff here. The Skyliner jacket looks pretty sweet but not sure how warm it will be on a -10F day :/
beetlejuiceon the west coast news you always hear about ppl taking some drug laced with Fent, and it's as if the people taking drugs with Fent laced in it are the victims?
if this the case on the east coast?
like im jw do you think ppl who are taking heroin or whatever drug that is laced with Fent are somehow victims? and they dont know that Fent is in the product? Like in the west coast new they are making it out like these ppl doing drugs are victims and unknowling are taking heroine and end up dying bcuz Fent is in it
the way i see it is that if your doing those type of drugs, that those drugs are always usually laced and you are always taking a risk and that just kind of comes with the territory

For a -10F day i would recommend getting some sort of shell jacket along with some sort of down jacket/vest that you can wear under that. It might be a little bit more spendy but you also need to look at how comfortable do you want to be on those days.

.MASSHOLE.Well, down jackets are going to be puffy, especially if you want it to be warm in -10 (Fahrenheit). If you want a casual jacket look at those companies casual lines, like these options from Norrona click, click or this from Haglofs, click, .
But the warmer you want the coat to be, the more expensive it is likely to be.
FYI, Nano-Puffs aren't that bulky, but at the expense of warmth.

Chubz.Because I knew it wasn't going to last. We both want different things in life. We both have similar interests but I knew what we had was gonna fade out and figured I do myself a favor and end things now and take the pain and move on rather than wait and watch what we have fade away in front of me.

Yeah I kinda dig the style but 450 bucks seem a pretty pricey. Fjallraven is pricey too. My max budget is around 200. I surprisingly found some solid products from Patagonia that are acutally affordable for a college student:

RparrI don't think it's so black and white. Obviously, nobody should be shooting opiates. It is inherently fucked. I think people are alarmed because of how things have changed. When I was in high school, heroin was huge. I even snorted the shit a handful of times. Only 1 kid died in the entirety of my 4 years there. At least 20% of my grade did heroin back then. Now, fent is cheaper to synthesize than heroin. I have no idea why dealers would rather kill their customers than earn repeat customers.
Most of the kids who I know who have died lately were straight up junkies, and I don't feel bad for them. Continuously being an opiate addict for years will kill you eventually, fent or not. You've got to quit. But there were a couple who actually got hit with fent laced molly, and some opiate niave users who unknowingly got some fent. I feel bad when somebody who is an occasional user gets fucked by this shit, because I used to be a responsibly occasional user as well. Fent is showing up in all street drugs now. Coke, pressed pills that are made entirely out of fent. I think that's half the reason it gets so much blame.

I've been getting in to psychs recently and you always hear about people gettin fucked up by some shit laced in it, but you never think it will happen to you because people base decisions more on experience than warnings. So say you have had a few great trips so you now trust the drug more than you trust the dealer imo. Even when your buying from friends you never know where their shit came from. I know how important it is to test your stash, but even so I never have just because i'm lazy/forgot/overly trusting, and how many actual junkies do you think are gonna drop a 20 on a test kit rather than spend that 20 on the drug
