I think it's hilarious that Carhartt has became a "cool" brand now. I grew up in a large logging and agriculture community and every kid growing up had a pair of flannel lined carhartt pants to get dirty in... and all my labor job buddies wear it religiously because it truly is some of the most durable work wear on the market. Now they have a streetwear line and it's starting to pop up in skiing everywhere and all my old yard work and labor work gear has suddenly become trendy lol.
Spent thanksgiving sleeping in a tent and skiing but apparently my roommates missed my presence so they raided my room and made a dummy me. Highlights include:
Snowblades
Multiple guns
My Carhartts
Milk Jug Face
Machete
My pants are stuffed with a tutu apparently
Montucky Cold Snack
My favorite water cup
My Ice Axe
I'm wearing my harness anchored to a snow picket jammed in the TV stand
It really sums up all of the important things about me.
They also raided my room for stuff to decorate the living room with. Their style is.... eclectic. My foil windshield cover is now mounted on the wall above the TV along with my extra pair of skins, my sombrero, two of my ice axes and a trail map of Grand Targhee. Along with a bunch of random christmas lights, some Mexican Jesus candles, a nativity scene and some actual art.
I keep double taking every time I walk through the living room because I think I see myself sitting in the corner, it's scarry. Apparently we're leaving "Quiet Cy" up until after Christmas though.

Don't get complacent, they're waiting until you're entirely used to it before putting the clothes on themselves and scaring the shit out of you

Yeah there's kids in my hometown who used to bag on carhartt and now they wear it because it's cool. My RD Carhartt hoodie is the best hoodie I have ever used.

But where are the sour gummy worms? Sounds like your roommates don't know you as well as you thought.
picked an awful stretch of days to double up shifts and work 60+ hours. fuckin nuketown till Wednesday and I probably wont be skiing till the week of the 8th at least.
I just woke up from a 2 hour nap after skiing and decided to run to Raleys real quick to pick up a few groceries. I roll in looking like a straight up pile of shit in uggs, Christmas print leggings, tall sweatshirt, no bra, helmet hair in a sumo bun on top of my head, no makeup, glasses, and of course I naturally ran into FIVE PEOPLE I KNOW. FIVE.

Somehow I lost mine but they have them on WhiskeyMilitia for like $40 right now so I'm about to get another one.
SO tite that the one day I was planning on hiking features all day this week it has to start fucking nuking so they aren't gonna open them. Very tite that it's dumping though we need the base....
holy fuck, brighton reporting 20.5 inches in the past 48 hours with another foot or two on the way by tomorrow morning. now we just need more terrain open.
SconnieWe all came from caves, baby cakes. I didn't cry like a pussy bitch when trump was elected. You're rather vulnerable outside of your safe space.
Only difference is conservatives are still living in them...
I didn't cry when Drumpf got elected, actually I laughed because that shows how many truly stupid people are out there. Not enough to consider themselves the "silent majority" (about 2 million short) but close.

Duuuude I saw an Insta video of some people hitting a rail at Brighton and landing in deeper snow than I've ever seen on the east coast. Was very jealous hahah.
Since the other two are hard, any watch recommendations? Looking for cheap, low key, and hard to break. Preferably without tide crap because I'm not cool enough to be a surfer.

Nah the swell reader is what you need. Ever since Ive had it I know when the tide is low at Pebble Creek. No core shots yet.
But really I like Nooka watches. They make tide ones and normal ones.

Go to Walmart and get the timex expedition. Like 25 bucks and mines lasted me around 2 years
DayManHoly shit Whistler has gotten 7 feet in the last week. Send some of that to CO!
No can do now that my black ass is booked up for a couple weeks in Whistler leaving next week looks like plenty more is on the way. Its going to be awesome.
Thank you to that financing option on expedia that allows you to pay it off in monthly payments over a year. Didn't think it would get accepted and go through don't have the best credit. Im kinda broke I had a lot more money this time last year when I went to Whistler needed that to make it happen.

Im 31 there is just dumb shit from years ago like not returning a cable box or dropping a class too late and refusing to pay for it when I only attended one class. And I don't have an awesome job with a massive weekly paycheck.
I haven't filed for bankruptcy or anything.
I would highly recommend to anyone responsible enough getting a credit card and paying the bill on it. Good credit is a very good thing to have. Making the monthly payments on this vacation will definitely help boost my credit so I can do something similar next year or get my Amex limit bumped up!!!
I just searched "K2 Domain" into google cause i was looking for this. But instead I got the ski. Had a mental lapse for a second then realized the problem.
Lets play a game of "is my ex-landlord fucking me over?"
I have not heard from my landlord since weeks before moving out. I get an invoice from my landlord via email for almost $300. It's not a billing from a 3rd party biller. It's literally an email he put together himself. It did not include any information from the electric or propane providers. I have no proof that the numbers are accurate for price per unit OR the amount of usage actually used.
Now here's where it gets shady. I decide to call the propane company to double check the rates are accurate. My landlord is trying to bill me $3.40/gal according to the invoice he sent me, but the propane company confirms that my landlord's account's rate is set at $1.34/gal!
I never signed a lease.. so I don't think I'm legally responsible to cover ANY of these costs. But if he's trying to overcharge me then it will give me good leverage to argue my case. Thoughts?
